Nebraska

Waste reported to the Gov. Mike Johanns, now Secretary of the USDA, did nothing. The USDA in charge of oversight of this FEPP program did nothing, a phony audit and investigation. Reported to the State Auditor, Kate Witek now running for Lt. Gov., also did nothing. Months went by while leading this whistle blower to believe an investigation was underway. Five months after reporting to the State Auditor I walked into the University operations Analysis office, informed them the University was going to be on the news that night. The lead story with the foreman of the FEPP program using state vehicles for personal use. As reported to the state auditor, also stealing gas, turning in hours never worked, on the clock while at home. Banking sick pay, 25% paid to employees at retirement.

A program started in the early sixties to help rural fire districts get on their feet. A program long since outlived it's original concept. A program kept alive for a budget spent year after year in order to get that same budget the next year. A program as told to me by US Senator Hagel's office, like many other federal programs, started but never ending! Perpetual waste, even though reported for theft and waste this program continues. People in Iowa & Kansas as told to me by management in this FEPP program, in prison for stealing this same federal property.

Employees encouraged to do nothing while charging rural fire districts thousands of $ to work on these trucks. Rural fire districts this program was set up to help was now charging thousands of $ for work never done! Taxpayers throughout Nebraska who paid for this equipment the first time so American soldiers could defend US in the past. Taxpayers whose sons and daughters are now in Iraq & Afghanistan, once again fight for a country they believe in while their families are ripped off here in America.

Watch TV four hours a day, work on personal vehicles while being paid by the Nebraska taxpayers. As the pictures on the home page show, stolen gas sent home with this employee, sent home at the instruction of the supervisor. Reported to the State Auditor, their response. "We can't come over and look at this without a warrant!"

After walking a state auditor employee through this FEPP shop months earlier and led to believe a statewide investigation was underway. Allowed to go along with a supervisor for months as he continued to steal the Nebraska State Auditor couldn't come over to this taxpayer's home and see evidence without a warrant!

Operations Analysis Linda Enck was asked if the Nebraska State Auditor had contacted her or their office. NO was the response.  While the University admits no wrong doing the supervisor was let go. Due to personnel reasons no explanation!

Reported to most state legislators who did worse than nothing, they appropriated millions more to the University after knowledge of this waste at the University Fire Equipment Shop. Ignored the facts, ignored the whistle blower, hid the truth from the taxpayers.

Below pictures of military trucks, 6x6 trucks. The top two pictures of older trucks, junk retrieved to be sold on auction, wasted tax $ as it brought less than it cost to have state employees retrieve from rural fire districts. While billions of $ are being spent on remanufacturing 6x6 military trucks so our troops have needed equipment to fight terrorist in Iraq this FEPP program was reported for theft, waste, and more yet the representatives in Nebraska did nothing. If just one American is wounded or killed due to lack of equipment should any blame be directed at  the people elected in Nebraska who did nothing?

The very people who did nothing further their political careers. Then Gov. Mike Johanns is now the Secretary of the USDA. State Auditor Kate Witek is running for Nebraska Lt. Gov., no doubt with the office of Gov. in her sights.

THANK GOD SHE WASN'T ELECTED! I CONTACTED SEVERAL PEOPLE BEFORE THE ELECTION SO THE TRUTH WOULD

Idaho

Idaho has had a large number of scandals and failures on the part of our representatives in turn costing millions of $. The Boise Tower, Kempthorne and our legislators backed Bob Hoover & the University Place fiasco, Boise Mayor Coles & his Chief of Staff Lyman, millions of tax $ spent on the connector over the past decade when a bypass would have solved the traffic problem which is still a mess and getting worse, and who knows what else.

Governor Kempthorne appointed a task force to find ways to work on these problems and the economy, a task force comprised of people in the business world here in Boise. No doubt some of the same people benefit from their own decisions!

Nine people were then added to the Idaho Tax Commission to hunt down tax evaders. While our representatives give tax breaks to the corporations who contribute millions of $ to campaigns in return making billions of $. We The People are hunted down like common criminals for what is reported as millions of $.

It seems our representatives find raising our taxes is the way to solve the problem. Raising sales tax was a boost at the expense of the taxpayer. Raising property tax seems to be the next solution. Both have hit my pocket book and next the dreaded audit.

I've rolled with the punches until the Idaho Tax Commission decided to write and tell me I owed $2,400 from 2001. This is interesting because my wife and I didn't move to Idaho until May 31, 2001. How could we owe this much in state taxes when both my wife and I had taxes deducted from our checks, I worked from June through Dec. and my wife started work from July until Dec. We didn't make enough money between the two of us to owe $2,400 if we hadn't had any taken out of our checks!

As it turns out the Idaho tax Commission believes Idaho is entitled to taxes from money earned and taxed in Nebraska before we moved here. When I received a letter from the ITC I called and asked if this $2,400 had anything to do with the retirement fund we cashed out of in Nebraska which we paid taxes and penalties on to the State of Nebraska as well as the federal government and I was told NO! I gave the letter to my accountant and he was going to handle it. I received another letter, and then a third. After the third letter I called the ITC and asked if my accountant had contacted them and they said no, my accountant says he did.

I then asked again if this $2,400 had anything to do with the money earned and taxed in Nebraska and the story changed!!! The ITC still maintains it isn't but wants to know exactly when we moved to Idaho and when we paid for the retirement fund we cashed out of. A LIE, BOLD FACED, COWARDLY LIE!!!

This is why I've started this survey. If anyone has a problem feel free to add to the survey and together we'll make it clear to our mis representatives we know they are proficiently incompetent and we aren't going to allow their failures, scams, and blatant rip off of We The People to go on without letting the world know.

Personally I don't mind paying my taxes! I do however mind paying corporate Un-America's taxes evaded through campaign contribution and the Washington lobby in return for tax breaks.I do mind paying taxes twice on the same earned income! I do mind paying taxes because my representatives fail and or make ignorant decisions either to help business buddies or make $ through those decisions resulting in the waste of millions if not billions of tax $!

 

The trucking industry, a failing Federal Motor Carriers Administration, the DOT, kickbacks, the dairy industry all failing and costing you as a taxpayer.

Kick backs in the trucking industry. Dairy industry trucking milk, tankers from one dairy state to another, off loaded, reloaded, and trucked back to the dairy state they came from.  Many reasons dictate why: supply & demand, time of year & amount of milk produced, condensed verses cream, and so on. The fact is competitors are passing each other, going opposite directions carrying the same product.

With a war in Iraq, spending billions, the largest consumer of petroleum products, and most importantly, Americans making the ultimate sacrifice! Why don't our representatives investigate & pass law requiring these large dairies to buy and trade to eliminate transportation cost, reduce consumer costs, reduce oil and petroleum use, reduce traffic as with big rigs on the road, & save lives doing so?

Subsidies! Billions in tax $ spent to buy small family dairies, {50 to 100 cows} out of business in the seventies and eighties while your representatives accepted campaign contributions from large dairies. Large dairies then grow and spread across the nation polluting air & water while continuing to contribute to campaigns. Taxpayers complain with no results. Now large dairies {10,000 cows} want to end subsidies they promoted years earlier to finish of smaller dairies, {100 to 500 cows} which hang on.

Your representatives are bought and paid for!

 

Crime in America

While our jails are over crowded our mis-representatives turn more otherwise honest Americans into criminals! Why? We're at war in Iraq, families of soldiers fighting to preserve freedom are led to believe by Bush & co. while the same families absorb taxes evaded through campaign contributions by corporate un-America. We the People are the largest corporation in the nation & possibly the world in that we employ millions of city, county, state, & federal employees.

Marijuana is illegal & booze is legal. Booze is promoted & taxed while responsible for the death of thousands of innocent people every year. Pot isn't taxed & to my knowledge isn't the cause of but a handful of people in the history of the US. Individual states make money on the sales tax from booze while your representatives accept campaign contributions & give tax breaks to these companies as your children die in auto accidents caused by drunk drivers!

Why then do we absorb all the taxes evaded by all the smaller corporations through campaign contributions when we pay all these people, including the representatives who pass bills & laws allowing this corporate welfare? $$$,

They're selling US out! Global warming, they're destroying the world while profiting & screwing the people at the same time! We had the American Revolution to get out from under the yoke of tyranny we still face every morning in America & now the world as Dubya has spread his disease into Iraq with an eye on Iran, North Korea, & who knows where else.

When we were in Vietnam our fools in Washington claimed we were fighting communism. Are we any different than communism when we force our political BS on other countries & create what we have in countries like Iraq. They were better off with Saddam. Bush will be responsible for the death of more people  than Saddam before he's finished yet they'll hang Saddam & Bush goes through life a control freak no differently than when he was running Iraq.

Were we really fight communism, or financing it as we are now an ally to terrorist as Bush does what they need to make their religious freaks more determined by our actions.

 

56,000 Americans died in Vietnam in front of weapons bought from communist countries! They were making $. Russia went broke twenty years after we left Vietnam in part because they were doing as we are now. Fighting a war that can't be won in Afghanistan & Vietnam was no longer buying billions of $ in weapons to kill Americans in Vietnam!

 

America is loaded with crime, white collar crime from Washington DC to local politics. Is that the representation America wants or needs? Is that why Americans are fighting and dying in Iraq?

Unfortunately Americans/taxpayers are without representation and corporate un-America is protected by the courts. An individual cannot report unsanitary warehouse & transportation conditions. According to my attorney I would be ill advised to present pictures either on this site or to the major retail and fast food industry who themselves are unaware of the conditions in which product they by are stored and moved.

I can only suggest the American people do as I will and email our mis-representatives. America is no longer a nation of the people. We are a captive/slave nation forced to eat and drink filth, crap we most people would not consume if they were allowed access to such information. Mad cow disease? 6 or 7 people in Idaho alone in the past year. Was it Mad Cow Disease or just some other form of brain wasting disease? We can't even get autopsies for fear of contracting this crap! While Americans are dying we as individuals can't report unsanitary conditions in our food processing! That's the God damn truth! I have pictures but they cant be seen!
