Madoff was sentenced to 150 years for his crime. Our mis-representatives haven't done any different than Madoff & why aren't we coming down on them like the courts in the Madoff case? The people verses our mis-representatives & campaign finance. It's a court of public opinion which needs to be addressed.     Many of our representatives took $ from banks, insurance, & others they later bailed out with billions of our $. The SEC, FED, & Treasury stopped public debate into whether derivatives were a risk to the world financial system. Brooksley Born, head of the Commodities Futures Trading Commission testified 17 time before Congress for public debate. She didn't testify 17 times before Congress in just a week or two, she has been warning US for a long time & they stopped her, in fact made this entire mess legal, & made millions breaking US. Our mis-representatives are above the law.     The SEC, FED, & Treasury said Born had no authority & Congress wouldn't investigate. Just as with Madoff & it wasn't just the few who invested, it was the world who lost. The warnings were there & they were ignored or covered up. Just as with Madoff victims, US taxpayers lost 40, 50% & more of their savings, trillions were lost in the market, back to work or not retiring individual taxpayers were swindled.     We're trillions in debt, every government agency failing, White House, Congress, Senate, FED, SEC, Treasury, INS, IRS, EPA, FDA, USDA, all of them, not just one or two, & we're trillions in debt. Our representatives have started wars based on bad intelligence, killed thousands of people in our name with our military & our $. They spend their budgets so they get the same or more the next year. I worked for the Nebraska State Dept of Forestry, I hear it first hand, spend the budget or we won't get the same next year.     The 4th of July, Independence Day, just like Memorial Day, Veteran's Day, Christmas, & every other holiday means nothing more than a long weekend, a day off. People in this nation are all about GOD in everything we do, In God we trust, pledge of allegiance, one nation under one God, & we don't even look at Christmas for the right reason. None of these holidays mean anything more than a day off, a paid holiday.     We should be sending a message on Independence Day that says it stops here & now. We had a Revolution to get from beneath this same yoke tyranny which now burdens US just a couple hundred years later. The very foundation on which America was built has been corrupted. Banks another  example, our representatives accepted  $64 million from those they later bailed out after stopping public debate into derivatives they broke US with.   Our representatives are out numbered 22 to one in DC by lobbyist paid by the same contributors who hand our representatives millions to get elected. That makes it 23 to zero in DC in favor of those who made trillions on US, the same trillions we're in debt. We have no representation, government has become destructive to our lives, safety, & happiness.   This entire mess, every problem we face, trillions in debt, to illegal immigration, to war in Iraq, to health care is a direct result of our mis-representatives accepting campaign finance. We need full financial disclosure by all our representatives & their families so we can judge for ourselves as the People, why we're in this mess & take appropriate action to fix the problem. Continuing on this path isn't going to solve any of our problems.    As a nation we need to evaluate where we would be if every American would be making a living wage with health care & retirement verses the current state of the union in which our representatives have promoted illegal immigration & free trade. We're trillions in debt, no jobs, in wars, & it isn't getting better just because the end of a recession may be in sight? This suggested by the same representatives who said we weren't in the same recession for a year, then said we have been for a year while they moved their investments, & we lost our $ as individual investors.   The same representatives accept millions of $ from the same contributors they give billions of our $ to them plus tax cuts, & invest in them. Defense & start wars, banking & no regulation, illegal immigration, free trade, we lose jobs, pay, homes, health care, lives, owe trillions, & will lose country & freedom!   We the People have a decision to make. Are we going to allow this failure to continue. We made the decision with a revolution just a couple hundred years ago. To allow this to continue is disrespecting all who sacrificed so we could be free & all who died in that so we would have the rights to do this. Are we going to celebrate one more holiday, Independence Day, lying about who we are while we continue to lose our freedom & nation? I am a 70 year old engineer still working because I think that engineering is fun.  I have always been interested in economics since Texas A&M  required this course for engineers, along with business law and accounting in the 1950's.  The Economics lecturer taught preposterous lessons to the effect that no one had to work as long as we just manipulated the economy.  The business law and accounting courses also benefited me greatly in by  career. Campaign contributors & federal programs, where our tax $ can be had, no questions asked, are the reason.   Idaho interim Gov Jim Risch wouldn’t look into kickbacks in transportation in the highly subsidized dairy industry, neither would current Gov Otter. Mike Johanns after doing nothing in Nebraska about the theft of state & federal tax $ was promoted to Secretary of the USDA which was in charge of oversight in Nebraska’s Dept of Forestry FEPP program I worked through. Mike Johanns wouldn't answer my email as Secretary of the USDA when I reported food safety issues either. Gov. Otter's response to unsanitary conditions was the USDA & FDA do inspections?   Mike Johanns & Jim Risch both moved on to become US Senators representing NE & ID? Representing being the key word! If you look over Nextrev you will see much of what has happened over the last few years, much forgotten, explaining why our mis-representatives get by with the crimes they commit. Current Idaho representative Walt Minnick has my correspondence as well & has openly said we should not bail out AIG or any other business that fails as AIG & the rest we’re bailing out have. Minnick has also said DC representatives don’t look at things as he does being a former CEO of a corporation.   Unlike so many taxpayer advocacy sites, I don’t ask for money, or donations. I have paid for this for approximately five years getting nothing from anyone. Their name's on a list, they can be bought, & they provide a service.   That .5% would come from the 50% for tax relief leaving 49.5% for tax relief. $1,000,000 saved. $500,000 Tax Relief $100,000 toward Social Security. $100,000 toward Medicare. $100,000 toward Medicaid. $100,000 toward Education. $50,000 toward Health Ins. for all Americans with a SS# and veterans. $50,000 to the person who's idea saved the $1,000,000. Realize the 5% a person earns for an idea is taxable income, 5% of $1,000,000 is $50,000. You can make s a year's wages on any idea that eliminates $1,000,000 waste or generates $1,000,000 to put toward this plan. If we can't come up with an idea to save $, I would think we could at least come up with an idea to save one life!     All the people who visit, especially young folks because you will lose most, & need to know. Your representatives accepted millions from all these contributors & others who also pay lobbyists millions, representatives then handed out billions of your tax $ & tax cuts to contributor which we as individuals absorbed, & consumer spending drives 70% of the economy buying contributor product & paying for infrastructure, roads!.   Our representatives are accepting millions in campaign finance, handing out tax cuts & billions of our tax $ to contributors in return. Representatives invest in contributors like AIG, banks, big oil, defense contractors,  & hand them billions, make millions on investments after starting wars, contributors hand millions of our tax $ back to our representatives who have great pay, auto raises, health care & retirement they claim is breaking US through companies like GM while CEOs make millions? Re- presentatives contradict everything they say & do. If you make a living wage it takes away from their greed, have health care it takes away form their greed, retirement, & it takes away from their greed. They have all the above but have promoted illegal immigration, busted unions, cut, & held down wages, destroyed our health care, promoted free trade, & every problem we have, including trillions we owe is a direct result of our mis-representation. We lose more everyday of what they enjoy through our taxes.   Representatives retire, become lobbyist, contributors hand over millions to new representatives while lobbyist tell new representatives what to do, & the cycle continues while we owe trillions. It's the greatest scam the world has ever seen, makes Madoff like like an innocent child.   Not one penny of the millions contributed to our representatives came out of a contributor's pocket, it was your tax $! This is ridiculous but for some reason,  We the People don't catch on? In the second picture you can see the hog bleeding out while the shooter who cut it's throat sits on top of the shed while another man waits in the back of the pickup to drag it in. In the next picture you can see the shooter next to the tractor, just to the right. In the second picture you can see the hog hanging from the loader, behind, & to the right of the pickup. You have to look closely, I would have gotten out to get better pictures but you can't even begin to imagine the smell.   While our representatives claim we face a pandemic with swine flu!   Neither Idaho US Senator Jim Risch nor Gov Otter would look into unsanitary transportation, warehousing, or kickbacks in transportation!

 

While Bush, Cheney, & the rest of our mis-representatives have run US into an economic crisis through

campaign finance & greed for more than any one person can ever use, there are good things coming from

their failure. Americans finally stepped up & displayed unhappiness, distrust, demands, & want their country

back. Bonuses by AIG & banks have taxpayers riled & protesting. Here in Idaho Gov. Otter finally gave up

$4,500 a month to live in his own house, after first trying to get by with cutting it by $500. Our mis-

representatives didn't change color as they continue to support auto pay raises for failure while suggesting

it's shameful for AIG to accept bonuses. Obama isn't going to pursue an assault weapons gun ban committing

political suicide!

 

 

If the people who showed up for the Tea Party across America want & expect to get their country back, they

better realize that showing up one day isn't going to get job done & one person every here & there can't do it

for US. Millions need to stick together, support each other on ideas, & what they want every day of every week

of every month of every year! We're trillions in the red, our representatives are to blame, & the time to strike is

when the iron is hot, NOW!

representatives. These two parties have US, United States, divided states!

 

 

Unlike many of the people at the Tea Party who made their first attempt at fighting mis-representation,

I have been fighting corrupt government for over ten years & have been around people fighting corrupt

government since 1978. My father in-law met with Nebraska Gov James Exon in 1978 to convince him

not to reappoint NE State Banking Director William Riley who was floating million dollar notes from a

Grand Island, NE bank. NE State Attorney General Paul Douglas sat in on that meeting & even though

Gov Exon didn't re-appoint Riley to State Banking Director, the crime by Riley was covered up all the way

to DC where my father in-law took the problem. State Attorney General Paul Douglas was convicted years

later of taking money from the failed Commonwealth Savings & Loan in which over $30 million dollars were

stolen from the depositors.

 

 

Commonwealth Savings & Loan failed in Nov. 1983 & I have the banking records as well as bank records

from the Grand Island, NE bank where Riley was floating notes. These bank records, banking scandals of

the 1980s, & current financial crisis are documented proof that banking in America has been corrupt for a

half century. I also have a letter from the FBI addressed to Nebraska State Banking Director Amen, several

other banking officials, & Paul Douglas. This letter pointed out bank fraud at a Beatrice, NE bank. The

same Beatrice bank is mentioned in the Commonwealth records I have & was operated by the son in-law

I believe of Commonwealth President Copple. This letter dated 3-83 was kept from the Commonwealth

investigation by Paul Douglas & NR banking officials. Commonwealth failed in Nov 1983.

 

 

People read the things I write & think I'm abrasive. If the people who attended the Tea Party believe calling

your representatives or being nice is going to put government back to work for US, they are in for a rude

awakening. Some of Idaho's state representatives were at the Tea Party blowing smoke rings up the crowd's

skirt. Take it from me, they were there for reasons other than representing the people.

 

 

I reported my boss for stealing state & federal tax $ at the Nebraska Dept. of Forestry in 1998. Military

excess property was being stolen. equipment that could have been sold with the $ going to the DOD. I

never knew in 1998 that we would be in Iraq & US soldiers would be dying because they never had equipment.

I reported my boss for stealing because it was taxpayer $. State of Nebraska representatives tried to cover

this up as well. Gob Mike Johanns didn't want to know. Johanns move on to become Secretary of the USDA

which was in charge of oversight of the FEPP program where I worked for Forestry. Johanns didn't do any-

thing when I reported Darigold here in Boise for unsanitary transportation & warehousing & he moved on to

become a US Senator.

 

 

When I & one other person first answered a letter from Darigold corporate office, West Farm Foods in Seattle,

WA , asking for information into theft, fraud, or waste we were guaranteed no retaliation. It wasn't but three

months & the other guy quit after being harassed. I stayed for a year & a half & put Darigold through as much

hell as they did me until they finally put together enough of a file to fire me. The last thing I did was send

pictures to the USDA & they made Darigold clean up, wash out trailers pictured which hadn't been washed

out in two years. The USDA failed in my discrimination claim but they would have been cutting their own throat

 in finding I was right because they would have been proven NOT to have been doing inspections!

 

 

Unsanitary transportation & warehousing weren't all we reported. We also reported my boss for possible

kickbacks in transportation. Interim Gov Jim Risch wouldn't investigate & he moved on to become a US Senator

just like Mike Johanns. Current Gov Otter wouldn't investigate claiming the USDA & FDA do inspections &

neither one of these two politicians did anything about the possibility of kickbacks in transportation in the highly

subsidized dairy industry. No doubt a campaign contributor!

 

 

I've called, written, or emailed representatives hundreds of times. If the people who read this or who went to the

Tea Party expect that little protest to get anything done, guess again. I started Nextrev as a lobby for the people.

The Idaho Statesman doesn't have the guts to print www.nextrevolution.net in my editorials for fear of a liable.

Even though they call for confirmation on editorials, they haven't printed the last one sent over a month ago. 

What good is a newspaper that doesn't report news out of fear of liable?

I went to the Tea Party, should have stayed home, would have if I had realized it was a republican tea party.

I swear the nonsense by the republican party, had to take years to make people believe in a thought

process so out of touch with reality. I bet the rest of the states are living in the 21st century, I wonder why

Idaho isn't?

After eight years of Bush, war based on lies which we'll be paying down forever, breaking the world economy,

republicans who voted him in should be taking responsibility, are blaming Obama, & worried about what he's

going to do? Liberal media, yada, yada, yada. Socialism, as if we haven't been a social society for over a

half century. Social Security being robbed by our representatives who accept campaign finance in return for

tax cuts we absorb as individuals, isn't social? Public school, taxes, Medicare, Medicaid, the $300 billion farm

bill is a perpetual stimulus, & I could go on forever on what is social in America. The majority of the people at

the Idaho Tea Party were republicans, they don't have a clube believe anything politicians tell them. Just

now showing up for a protest, for the first time, after years of government failure, & they think it is going to do

any good? To top it off they had signs saying they didn't want change? What do they want, more of the same?

Why are they protesting then?

The Tea Party had a recording playing, some guy suggesting nowhere in the constitution was democracy

mentioned, we're a republic! OK, then why are people just now showing up for their first protest? I've had

www.nextrevolution.net about five or six years & every time I mention it I get some Idaho red neck's

yada, yada, yada, your little revolution. Millions of people were doing the same thing yesterday & if they did

anything at all at least one day a week or month, we wouldn't be in this mess. Except for the fact that

campaign finance manipulates the people through our representation. People, just like at the Tea Party,

are so willing to believe whatever politicians spread, it's no wonder we're being taken in the greatest scam

the world has ever seen & the rest of the world hates US.

Ok, the recording made the point we're a republic, a few minutes later some radio guy is up there asking who

we are, republican, democrat, liberal, independent, & being Idaho it stands to reason most were republican.

The purpose of asking was? It did make clear, while our constitution states we're a republic, everybody there

was all about being democratic. We're killing thousands of people in other countries promoting democracy

that is breaking US here at home & we're not a democracy? The people who voted for Bush don't want

change? Republicans contradicted themselves all day long protesting against government for raising their

taxes which government's been doing for almost a century, with signs suggesting they don't want change?

They'll no doubt get what they ask for. Fools don't realize we're being taken by our representatives through

campaign finance.

The republican crooks, Bush & Cheney slithered out the back door with how many million? Why aren't the

American people demanding answers? Full financial disclosure by all our representatives, family, every

government official running any government agency involving our tax $, would tell US the truth, & we could

fix this mess. I guess it's easier to blame Obama than admit you're an idiot for voting for Bush? Blaming

Clinton when Bush came into office with a surplus is just as wrong as blaming Obama for fixing Bush's failure

afterward. Hating democrats just because they're democrats is ignorance at best, they're still Americans.

The SEC, FED, & Treasury stopped public debate into derivatives, under Bush! Was Clinton any better? NO!

Want to fix the mess we're in? Get rid of both parties & take campaign finance along with full financial

disclosure. Take the money from the rich who bought our representation! They stole it so steal it back. Where

are all those jobs created in return for tax cuts? You know all the taxes we as individuals absorbed & still pay

even though the jobs are gone. Are they just like the banks & AIG, too big to fail & the world will fall apart so

we can't do that just like we had to bail them out? In 1940 corporations paid 50% of taxes, now pay 10% &

individual spending driving 70% of the economy pay 90%.

The other thing that cracked me up was Brian Fischer asking the crowd if they thought government should be

able to raise our taxes, sale, property, gas, & all. The crowd response was NO. Along comes one of Idaho's

state representatives telling US Otter refused to sign some transportation legislation, Otter didn't want federal

government raising Idaho taxes or controlling Idaho? The crowd was all about that. Otter was getting $4,500 to

live in his own house but that was never mentioned. Otter is trying to raise gas taxes, vehicle registration, &

all kinds of other taxes but no mention. No mention of the Idaho Tax Commission with Otter's flunky giving tax

cuts in the millions to corporate contributors but Otter is a hero for suggesting he doesn't want federal

government in Idaho raising taxes? Are people really that simple minded they would cheer while being taken in

something so obvious? Otter was all about not spending the stimulus until he had the $ either but it's all been

spent already. Sure came in handy didn't it Gus?

Just like Bush, Otter is republican, & no matter how much he steals or screws up, the republicans blame

democrats? Is Otter some kind of God or are the people of Idaho idiots? The two look alike side by side. If

you took the i & t out of native, replaced the a & h in Idaho, then turned o & t around, Idaho would spell idiot.

Or just put republican or democrat in front or behind Idaho.

The Statesman doesn't write my editorials anymore, even though I call & verify after they call me? The

Statesman prints all kinds of articles about food poisoning, the TX company where hundreds of people got sick

& some died. Otter covers up unsanitary transportation & warehousing in Boise, Idaho's highly subsidized dairy

which is no doubt a contributor as with corporations at the tax commission. Risch & Otter didn't want to dig up

kickbacks in transportation I reported either? What business rents old semi trailers at $1,200 month for years

on end when they get tax cuts for equipment or are the tax cuts for leasing & renting so lucrative paying $1,200

a month for years for each of several semi trailers you could buy for approximately $5,000 each a good

business decision?

I've sent in several editorials, used to send www.nextrevolution.net but the Statesman won't print the site, don't

want to get sued? Like Otter, protect local business while avoiding negative publicity is more like it. Promoting

business, growth, development is more important than letting people know they're being ripped off & could have

been exposed to illness, is the truth.

The same USDA Otter suggests does inspections failed in my complaint against Darigold, that was a given.

They would have been cutting their own throat if the truth came out they weren't doing inspections & both Risch

& Otter were involved. People in Idaho & all over the western US should be made aware of private label milk that

was sold in WINCO, Paul's Ridley's, McDonalds, Burger King & more. It doesn't say Darigold, if it's private label.

 

It's my understanding a contract might be happening with CostCo as well. We used to deliver bad milk all the

time, deliver one day, go out, & pick up what wasn't sold the next from WINCO & the rest. Deliver milk that

might have been bad or rerun several times right back to them. They used to rerun milk all the time, several

times, & if they couldn't get it right, sold it to a hog farmer. Something about bacteria?

 

You can see the hog farm where it's dumped & even a hog or two being killed out there in the filth by illegal

immigrants. Any income taxes paid out there or illness from butchering a hog in the open air with hog crap in

the dust blowing around? Why is your insurance unaffordable? Doesn't have anything to do with all this while

costing you $ through the highly subsidized dairy industry does it?

Tomorrow there's a Tea Party, all across the nation people are protesting the failure of our government. I'll be

there handing out information about Nextrev.

 

If the people from Boise get on Nextrev & see the pictures, dairy products sold throughout the valley, obviously 

less than desirable conditions, & don't call Gov Otter who helped cover up these conditions, I wouldn't be

surprised. Conditions I would think people would want to know about, feel they have the right to know about,

first of all because it's the highly subsidized dairy industry, & second because the dairy delivers to so many of

the valley's major retail outlets. Because it could make thousands of people sick if something were to become

a problem, I would think people would want to know who makes the product on the shelf.

 

Private label products produced by irresponsible people & companies, on the shelves of major retail outlets

such as WINCO, & my understanding is COSTCO might be getting a contract, should be a major concern

by the Gov. & the rest of our representatives. Unfortunately those representatives put campaign contributions

which buys the election, ahead of the taxpayer who pays their wages, auto pay raises, health care & retirement

we lose more of everyday through their mis-representation.

 

 

 

 

 

The Gov of Idaho  helped cover-up a problem that could make thousands of people sick & he suggests he cares

about kids with autism? The same Gov Otter cares about getting roads fixed? I can tell you what Gov Otter

cares about, campaign contributors just like at the Idaho Tax Commission where Otter's appointee suggests

corporations hire accountants heavy into tax knowledge & can't be bullied. The same taxpayers who drink rotten

milk pay the taxes evaded through the tax commission & highly subsidized dairy industry!

 

When the peanut producer in TX was going from one inspector to the next until he got a passing inspection,

people got sick, & died, he was wrong, & held accountable. When Otter covers up the conditions pictured to

protect campaign contributors & the highly subsidized dairy industry, he is above the law! Just like the Tax

Commission, We the People are being taken, & need to tell the Gov. to get out of our house! Otter is a threat

to our safety & happiness! Just like the crooks on our payroll in DC responsible for the current financial crisis

& trillions of $ we are in debt!

 

 

Idaho Gov Butch Otter has appointees at the Tax Commission, Liquor Commission, is trying to take over the 

Idaho Dept. of transportation, & is currently  manipulating legislature into doing as he wants by keeping them in

session at an expense to the taxpayer of $30,000 a day. I hate to break it to the taxpayers of Idaho but the Gov

is a crook & has an agenda in which you can bet along with contributors & who knows who else, he's making $,

& at the expense of the working class!

 

 

Legislators are getting a message from the people who voted them in office that they can't afford tax increases,

tried to do as voters want,  but Otter is forcing his way. That should tell the voters something stinks in the

capital building, Otter.

 

 

4-6-09 History Channel Sunday night: Madoff, the greatest American scam or something like that?

Second greatest would be my call, this two party joke controlled by campaign finance has US far more in

the red as a nation/world than Madoff had his investors.

 

 

We're being taken just like Madoff investors. Part of an exclusive club, taxpayers. Madoff was a confidence

man & so is this two party joke we call democracy. We're being taken to the tune of trillions, led to believe

it's all good, lucky to be part of the greatest country in the world, & the rest is history.

 

 

I forget the guy's name but a mathematician approached by one of Madoff's investors, went to the SEC way back

in 2001 I believe, suggested a front runner or Ponzi scheme. The SEC looked into the front runner scheme & let

Madoff go, didn't look into the Ponzi scheme. The guy went back several times to the SEC & they never caught on.

The SEC was in fact found to have no idea or the manpower to even begin to deal with or understand the very finance,

market, banking it was created to police!

 

 

Madoff had the entire US regulatory branch baffled, or they let it happen because there was much more going on?

Think about it. Does it make sense the SEC didn't look at the Ponzi scheme when a mathematician proved the numbers

don't work, look into a front runner scam, doesn't take, then drop it without looking at the Ponzi scheme?

 

 

The same SEC, FED, & Treasury stopped public debate into derivatives AIG was into & again when warned by

Brooksley Born, head of the Commodifities Futures Trading Commission, our government & oversight not only ignored

but stopped action leading up to this current financial mess. Those responsible paid $64 million to our representatives

in campaign finance. The same representatives who have US in war in Iraq on Bush's word, are vested to the tune of

million in defense while handing billions over to defense? Are we too big to fail & is this too much to read?

 

Why do I hear somebody pushing a rock back up the hill only to have it roll back down, suggest?

 

 

This entire financial mess falls to the people who are losing everything & still won't do anything. I'd say it falls to Bush,

Cheney, & our representatives but like Madoff, they're getting away with it because nobody will listen. Like the SEC,

the people won't listen when being told of the greatest scam & continue to allow the criminals to run US into the dirt

while making out like a Madoff.

 

 

Unlike government, Madoff was one smart guy. Government, as with the SEC, is just a puppet. Otter would like to be the

puppet master in Idaho just like Bush was in DC & that little mistake is costing US trillions.

 

 

The History channel made it clear this mess was already in place, blame democrats, but really got out of hand in 2000.

Like the war in Iraq, Bush was the problem. Y2K really did come to be, we were warned, thought it passed US by. Like a

computer virus, mutated, & when it came to be we have what we have.

 

 

Let the children pay? If the people in education were to use the education they promote instead of beg for money, & along

with the media put government in it's place working for US we'd once again be a government of, for, & by the people.

Where's the media & FBI? That's what makes this the greatest scam. Our representatives are above the law & the media

won't take it far enough.

 

 

Either we the people police our government or the rest of the world will do to US as we did Iraq. The SEC allowed

the crooks to police themselves like we allow government to accept campaign finance, make out like a Madoff, &

look where that got US.

 

 

Every government agency & policy we have is failing. The SEC, FED, Treasury, USDA, FDA, INS, IRS, corrections,

& all the rest but do I really need to? I could elaborate, get into the failure of each, & it would always come back to

one common denominator. Mis-representation & campaign finance.

 

On this site you can see pictures of less than desirable conditions in transportation & warehousing in the highly

subsidized dairy industry. When reported to Idaho Gov. Butch Otter along with kickbacks in transportation, it was

ignored to protect campaign contributors, no doubt agri corruption while collecting billions in return through a farm bill.

Otter had a response from a flunky suggesting the USDA & FDA do inspections yet I had to send pictures to the

USDA of semi trailer not washed out in years? Obama calls the FDA a disgrace!

 

Also pictures of the Nebraska Dept. of Forestry when reported my boss for stealing state & federal tax $ to Nebraska

Gov. Mike Johanns who also did nothing. Just a few years later US soldiers were dying without equipment my boss was

stealing! As Secretary of the USDA Johanns also did nothing about dairy conditions when reported but local USDA

fortunately did. Lt Gov Risch of Idaho while acting Gov., also did nothing as with Otter & now both Risch & Johanns have

been elected as US Senators. We call this representation?

 

 

 

Memo clearly stating milk is bad. We delivered to major retail outlets one day, replaced

with which wasn't bought, & consumed the next. Below milk marked as rerun & hog food

on the same pallet. Like the Texas peanut producer taking product to one inspector after

another until passing results, milk which wasn't already sold was rerun until bacteria was

under control  or then fed to hogs at taxpayer expense. Is Idaho Gov Otter or US Senator

Risch held accountable like the Texas peanut producer or above the law while accepting

campaign contributions while covering up?

 

 

Clearly states rerun & hog food. That Horizon organic is good stuff? Much of  

Darigold product was private label for WINCO, Horizon, Ridley's, Pauls, Burger King,

McDonalds, & more. The USDA which I had to send pictures to in order to clean up

conditions they failed to inspect also failed in my case to protect themselves & Darigold

employees lied to protect their jobs because they were told they would be replaced.

 

I was fired for reporting unsanitary transportation, warehousing, & kickbacks in the

highly subsidized dairy industry receiving billions in your tax $. Your representatives

who hand out your tax $ in return for campaign contributions would allow you to become

sick & die just like they sold you out in the current financial crisis just like they hand

out billions to defense contractor where they invest, make millions,  & send your family

America doesn't have enough problems without war with N Korea? History is a good indicator our representatives

can't run America, have run US into the ground while lining their pockets along with contributors, & we're headed

 back to Afghanistan after Bush & Cheney made their millions in Iraq?

 

 

N. Korea, Iran, bin Laden, & every other nut know we're broke. All they have to do is keep feeding the fire & we'll

continue to fail because they also realize the last thing our representatives will do is put country ahead of them-

selves or contributors. Too bad the American people don't catch on? We didn't get to be $100 trillion in the red

the same way our representatives got to be millionaires.

 

 

We didn't learn from Vietnam, sent 58,000 Americans to die in front of weapons bought from communist

countries while suggesting we were fighting communism, not financing it? Russia went broke after we left

Vietnam, fighting in Afghanistan financing democracy because we were selling weapons to the Taliban. Now

we're going broke in Afghanistan financing communism through weapons bought while we hand billions to

Pakistan which promotes terror with our money, killing US soldiers?

 

 

Our representatives failed in allowing 9/11, warnings were there years before. Former Presidential candidate Gary

 Hart was on a US commission which reported to Congress in 1996 that terrorist could hijack commercial airlines

 & use them as bombs.

 

 

Bush took US to Iraq, claimed WMD, terrorist, Nukes, none found. Bush said major fighting was over in 90 days,

we're still there six years later, & every time we try to move a few troops out, violence kicks up. Bush said war in

Iraq would cost $50 billion & oil would pay. It has cost over $600 billion. The Bush dynasty, & big oil are the only

ones who realized any profits from oil. Cheney & his old company made millions if not billions through no bid

contracts, reconstruction costing US billions as well, & it continues. Our representatives, republican, democrat,

for & against war in Iraq are handing over billions of our tax $ to defense contractors who they are invested in

while making millions? Representatives are invested in all contributors & we don't demand full financial disclosure?

Obama can't pick someone for an appointment who isn't a tax cheat & all they have to do is pay back taxes

working class would have a lien on their home for? 

 

 

The current financial crisis is just more of the same, breaking US taxpayers by handing out working class $ to

crooked bankers responsible for the mess, billions in bonuses every time they stroke a computer key. America

has had crooked banking for over a half century, documented proof in the banking scandals of the eighties, & now

the FED, SEC, & Treasury stopped public debate into derivatives by AIG leading up to this, yet the American

people going  are broke one at a time, whimper a bit but hold the bent over position & take it like a man?

 

 

This all contradicts the American Revolution, Declaration, Constitution, history, all who have died to preserve

freedom, the American way of life, the very foundation on which we suggest America is all about while

representatives run US around the world promoting democracy with war & murder. I would think the American

people would wise up.

 

 

Government must be putting something in the air, water, or food. Nobody can be so naturally stupid to believe in

what we suggest America is all about & allow these crooks we call representatives to break US through campaign

finance.

 

 

Everything our government has done in the last half century, every government agency, & policy is failing. Isn't

$100 trillion in the red proof enough? Isn't robbing Social Security to the point it will be broke soon a good

indication while all we get is talk of fixing that little problem? Our representatives have talked about fixing health

care they busted through the promotion of illegal immigration in return for campaign finance, haven't done squat

except spend money, & talk just like Social Security. Isn't breaking the world economy a good indication

democracy & this phony shell game we call representation isn't working?

 

 

Our representatives keep getting better at the game, Bush was a throwback, an idiot & still the American people

listened. Obama is a better speaker, slick, & we'll just keep paying because people want to believe in change.

We're being taken in the greatest scam the world has ever seen, we call it democracy, representation, & we send

our best to die in wars based on lies killing innocent people prompting it.

 

 

Like financing communism in Vietnam with the lives of Americans, we're now financing terrorism in Iraq &

Afghanistan with American lives so our mis-representatives, corporate un-America, & agri corruption can make $.

 

 

America is no better than communism or terrorism in other nations, 21st century mis-representation in DC is in

far worse than either or both together, & for whatever reason We the People don't see it. I'm an American & I see

US as the greatest threat to mankind. If the American people don't catch on, we'll be attacked by the civilized world.

Are we are no longer a part of the rest of the world, like AIG too big to fail because we kill on a global scale while

calling countries who kill their own, evil?

The US government has been corrupt for well over a half century & is responsible for much of the world's problems from financial,

to environmental, to human rights abuses, & war killing innocent people.

Through campaign finance our representatives are put in office, representatives who then act on the advice of lobbyist paid millions

from the contributors who put them in office, & pass laws resulting in the current world crisis. Why do we elect people who can't do

the job & then sell US out to the people who pay them millions to evade taxes we as individuals absorb?

The current financial crisis is an ongoing crime, documented, & undeniable yet it continues with those responsible collecting billions

after breaking the world financial system. The FED, SEC, & Treasury stopped public debate into derivatives SIG was into. Our

representatives accepted $64 million from the very crooks responsible who we're bailing out after they made trillions, accepted billions,

gave themselves billions in bonuses, are again accepting billions & contributing millions of the same tax $ to our representatives?

The American people fail to do anything, whine like little girls every time they're taken, & wonder why we're being taken, again. This is

the greatest scam of all time & the American people won't listen.

A country that promotes democracy around the world with war & murder while waving the flag yet allows the government to steal from

US again, isn't even a bad reason to continue on the course we're on, it's ridiculously ignorant.

We have a Constitution & Declaration completely ignored while our mis-representatives rewrite these documents we live by, display, &

teach the very children who are & will die in these wars, crimes against humanity, & the same children who will pay for this mess if they

live through the wars. These 18 year kids sign up for a military first of all because our government abused the people with a draft, sending

Americans to die in the Vietnam lie, they now volunteer because they can't find a job that pays a living wage or afford college because

our government gave them away, & are locked into the military through stop loss in a back door draft.

Can we be any more contradicting or dishonest? The answer is, yes. These US soldiers have come home from Vietnam to be spit on,

live on the streets because our government denied agent orange, failed to provide health care, then did the same with Gulf War Syndrome,

& continue to do so with Post Traumatic Stress from current wars while US soldiers kill themselves or are left to die on the streets & die

in less than desirable conditions in US military hospitals.

Our government promotes democracy bought through campaign finance, rips off the people for trillions of $, our debt is trillions, trillions

being added every year, & there is no end in sight.

Our government claimed we were fighting communism in Vietnam & sent 58,000 US soldiers to die in front of weapons bought from

communist countries. We were financing communism, not fighting it! Russia went broke after we left Vietnam fighting in Afghanistan

 where the US made billions of $ selling weapons we now send Americans to die in front of?

We're now fight terrorism in Iraq where there were no terrorist until we destroyed that nation when we could have been finished in

Afghanistan by now. Instead we handed billions of our tax $ to Pakistan which is supporting terrorism in Afghanistan & we fight/support

terrorist with our tax $. How do we win a war against the same enemy we finance? Just like Vietnam we're promoting the enemy we

claim to be fighting. We're not fighting terrorism, we're financing it just like communism!

In the mean time our representatives & their partners in crime, campaign contributors make trillions while destroying America. If every

American made a living wage with health insurance, & retirement we'd be trillions of $ ahead instead of trillions in the red while

Americans are unemployed & the rest making $8 an hour supporting the rest & borrowing trillions of $ into the future. Don't forget

paying our representatives a fine salary with auto pay raises, health care, & retirement for selling US out.

Every problem we have in America is through our mis-representation & campaign finance. Illegal immigration has been promoted

like corrupt banking for over a half century. Illegal immigration, promoted, breaking unions, putting Americans out of work, held down

wages, busted our health care, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, & we now will help Mexico fight the drug cartels who have a

network set up throughout the US through the same mis-representation.

The Farm bill is a perpetual stimulus & has been for years putting Americans out of work while our representatives responsible claim

Americans won't do those jobs, jobs we did thirty years ago when they paid a living wage with health care & retirement before our

representatives sold US out.

Now the taxpayer is borrowing trillions into the future & this joke continues. Our representatives responsible for the entire mess claim

the big three, auto workers make too much money with health care & retirement our representatives enjoy, are responsible for the

failing big three yet CEOs who receive billions in bonuses continue while in bed with the crooks we pay to represent US.

Our representatives hand out billions, complain about bonuses through our tax $, only after the working class complains, then continue

to accept auto pay raises & sell US out by accepting billions in campaign finance.

The American people must be the stupidest people on the planet for allowing this to continue. What do they teach in schools, failure

101? There must be something in our water, air, or food because nobody in their right mind would allow this to continue.

Considering what America is all about government of, for, & by the people, we contradict ourselves by continuing this two party joke

we call democracy we spread around the world with war based on lies, & murder.

America has become worse than any other country or government we claim to be evil, terrorist, communist, & abusive to people while

we kill the same people with our weapons of minor destruction?

America is so backwards it's amazing some other nation or the UN hasn't stepped up & pointed this all out. Communism would be an

improvement, we've been social for years, so much so our representatives have robbed Social Security for years, yet cry about socialism.

The terrorist we claim to be in Iraq are really on our payroll in DC! The American people are being held hostage & the responsibility for

Another example of our government incompetence, handing trillions over to a country helping terrorist &

spending trillions fighting war against the same terrorist.

Just like Vietnam, we weren't fighting communism we were financing it. Communist countries made trillions

of $ on weapons used to kill 58,000 Americans in Vietnam. After we left Vietnam, Russia went broke fighting

the Taliban who we provided weapons. Didn't learn from Russia's mistakes or our own.



The US government, our representatives are either proficiently incompetent or crooked as a dog's hind leg.

The current financial crisis making neither a reason to continue on this course of ignorance.

Our representatives have US in a financial crisis we may never recover from & the people who will pay are

the same 18 year old kids fighting terrorist in Afghanistan & Iraq, where we should have never gone to start

with. If they live through war based on lies & financed, both sides, by our tax $, they'll pay the rest of their

lives.

If these 18 year old kids, manipulated into the military by an economy trashed by our same representatives,

volunteered, stop loss a backdoor draft, now they  can't get out, & if don't wise up they will be the next

generation of poor dumb Americans to lose as we are today.

Our representatives, elected through campaign finance, lobbied through the same un-American corporate

& agri corrupt influence, gave all our jobs away to illegal immigration, held down wages, busted our health

care, & now we have to pay to fight the Mexican drug war as well as our own. Mexican drug cartels are

set up all over America & we pay the wages of many through a farm bill that is no different then another

stimulus, it's perpetual, has been for years.

Next our representatives did as contributors wanted & we have free trade which is the most expensive free

crap we'll ever witness. China is making out like a bandit in trade, buying T Bonds, & building a military that

will walk over US like a bug when they come to collect their money, our country.

taxes evaded through campaign finance to the lost income of unemployed Americans who then lose homes.

 

I bet it would be more cost effective to pay Americans a living wage with health insurance & retirement! I bet

American auto makers would be more cost effective than foreign autos if you add everything in.  From $

spent on the foreign car to everything foreign we buy with US currency going out of our economy to other

nations. Add in the price of health care, prescription drugs, to law enforcement to fight drugs & crime by

illegal immigrants. This is what our representatives have done to US!

 

Add in all the expenses created through illegal immigration, include busting our health care, crime/costs such as courts &

jail, billions farm bills perpetual stimulus, & compare that with paying Americans the living wage they used to make as union

meatpackers with health insurance & retirement. Now we have billions out of the current stimulus going to health care,

Medicare, Social Security, education, & who knows.

 

Let's not forget prisons we are now letting criminals out of because we can't afford to keep them. There are

no jobs so what do our representatives suggest these criminals do? IDIOTS!

 

Our representatives, through campaign finance not only have the United States divided by party, trillions in

debt, have US split on everything from red verses blue to who should get stimulus $, to war, to education, to

immigration, making it clear to this American this two party joke we call representative, democracy we shove

down the world's throat, are criminal, & taking not only US, but the world in the greatest scam the world has

ever seen.

If the FBI doesn't do their job, demand full financial disclosure by all our representatives, family, SEC, FED,

Treasury, banks, Wall Street, CEOs, & more, starting with IRS audits, the UN needs step in. We have become

a threat to not only US but the world. If the rest of the world, China & Russia turn on US, where will we be?


If it were just the banks in question it would be great but our representatives obviously don't have a clue, handing

out money hoping something good will happen while things keep getting worse. AIG is handing out billions more

in bonuses while our representatives can do nothing & the crooks won't?

Everything our representatives have done in the past half century is the reason we're in this mess! From Vietnam

to this financial crisis, it is the decisions of our representatives manipulated through campaign finance that have

US upside down.

We would be money ahead, if our representatives would promote Americans doing American jobs at a living wage &

I can prove it. We would turn this economy around first, banking, & Wall Street would follow if our representatives

handing billions to banks,  were buying mortgages of proven homeowners on a month at a time basis until things turned

around, allowing Americans to spend $ creating jobs rather then hand $ over to those responsible for this mess while

they continue to fail & give themselves bonuses. Government is all about job creation when tax cuts for campaign

contributions is the game, how about saving the nation?

Our representatives didn't bother to take it upon themselves to stop auto pay raises. Why would AIG executives do

anything different when nobody, including our representatives will do anything except say, shameful?

Immigration & campaign finance: Our representatives take millions to get elected through campaign finance. Once in office

they bust unions, promote illegal immigrants replacing American workers  in meatpacking & AG jobs. Illegal

immigrants are abused, health care costs millions we absorb. We pay taxes evaded as well through campaign finance.

Now years after Americans were replaced with illegal immigrants, pay has increased in meatpacking, & Americans can't

have those jobs.

In 1940 corporations paid 50% of income taxes, now pay 10% & We the People as individuals pay 90%. We the People

are consumers who drive 70% of the economy through spending but everyday we lose spending power through campaign

finance & our representation. Where are all the jobs our representatives suggest corporation create now in return for tax

cuts? Corporations still have tax cuts in place. Why are we spending trillions we're borrowing from the future on infrastructure

while the money made in real estate, {trillions went in the pockets of developers like bankers now who contributed to our

representatives} & housing when tax cuts were handed out like candy? Education alone has US paying more & where does

the money come from? Property taxes driven up through this mortgage mess! property values went down but did your taxes?

them with Hillary Clinton begging them to continue or we may fall further into this black hole our representatives have no clue if they

can fix by spending trillions, tossing the $ at?

 

Is the trade deficit along with China in position to tell US they will quit buying T bonds, drive our economy deeper into question while

dictating international waters, a good thing, in the best interest of national security? America has spent trillions of $ fighting

communism, thousands of Americans sacrificed their lives, now our destiny is in their hands, & we're asking China to continue to

buy T Bonds?  When this mess gets worse will China walk in & take over without so much as a whimper?

Is our representation breaking US through campaign finance without even a clue they're doing it or are they making so much money

through campaign finance, like AIG in bonuses, it doesn't matter?

GM is next to blame & go, workers making a fine wage with retirement & health care our tax $ doesn't support like illegal immigrants.

I would rather pay Americans a living wage, that American product at higher prices, Americans independent of government programs,

spending money on our economy, & not pay all the added BS our representatives are borrowing trillions to cover. Americans

would spend the money on the economy which 70% of consumer spending drives instead of it being sent to Mexico where there is a

drug war threatening our southern border which is & will continue to cost US billions in taxes!

The next time as an American making $8 an hour, you buy a foreign car or product thinking it's a better buy , or illegal immigration

cheap labor for jobs Americans did when it paid a living wage but according to Bush, now won't do, add in all the money you're

paying in taxes evaded through campaign finance which you absorb, the national debt, stimulus after stimulus, farm bills, Social

Security, Medicare, Medicaid, health insurance if you have it, property taxes, bonuses AIG executives are getting, your

spending drives 70% of the economy. How can our representatives suggest tax cuts in return for campaign

finance, promote illegal immigration putting Americans out of work, low wages, & expect US to drive the

Government, our well paid representatives with health care & retirement we lose more of every day, are selling

It's obvious the Idaho Tax Commission is running a shell game. I think everybody knows accountants heavy into

tax knowledge, hired by the corporations who can't be bullied, is a scam. Who writes tax law, Idaho Legislature?

Or would it be safe to say accountants heavy into tax knowledge, hired by corporations who can't be bullied,

hand the laws they want written, to our representatives who pass them into law? The same representatives who 

accept millions in campaign finance from the same corporations.

 

 

Nice gig if you can get it & I bet salary paid by corporations are a reflection. Imagine a resume as an accountant

suggesting I wrote the tax laws passed by the representatives you contribute to & can assure you I know how to

save you millions in taxes?

 

 

Our representatives lied for a year, telling US we weren't in a recession, when they finally decided we were, we

had been for a year? Where were our representatives investing their money for the year they were telling US to

stay in the market while losing retirement, & we're now responsible for another $800 billion stimulus given to the

companies responsible who also contributed $64 million to those representatives? Statesman printed that too.

 

 

This entire financial crisis is the same story. Experts, financial & economic advisors no doubt also working for

corporations, banks, AIG, Lehman Bros., & everybody getting billions from the stimulus? The Statesman ran a

story by the NY Times just yesterday, page 8 main. Obama advisors tied to Citigroup unit that lost money. Isn't

it a little odd that our representatives accepting campaign finance $ from the same corporations, keep handing

billions to those corporations for this mess while taking advise from their top financial experts?

 

 

I have this box of information, 25 years of documentation from a Lincoln, NE man who lost over $100k in the

1983 Commonwealth Savings & Loan in Lincoln, NE. Included are bank records that suggest Commonwealth

had irregularities for years, from 1967 to 1983 before failure. Records from 1961 through 1967 are missing

altogether,  & Commonwealth was insolvent for at least a year before it finally fell apart. I also have a letter from

the FBI addressed to NE banking officials & State Attorney Paul Douglass, stating a Beatrice, NE bank looked

to be involved in fraud. This letter dated months before Commonwealth failed, was kept from the investigation into

 Commonwealth while millions of $ were stolen from Commonwealth & the depositors lost $33 million. The

receivership set up for Commonwealth embezzled over a million itself.

 

 

Nebraska legislature had passed LB291 creating NDIGC which guaranteed each account to $30k just like the

FDIC except on a state level. It was worthless because the state never made savings & loan companies like

Commonwealth back them up & the state didn't either. Is the FDIC any safer bet today? Just because Bush

was on TV telling US every account was insured to $250k doesn't make the $250k worth $250k after the banks

fail. The truth might make people run on the bank? We all know there isn't $250k sitting somewhere ready to

replace the insured $, would it be added to the stimulus? What kind of insurance is that? we're on the brink of

economic disaster!

 

 

Paul Douglass was later convicted of accepting thousands from Commonwealth assets, later overturned on

appeal. It should be of interest that Paul Douglass sat in on a meeting with my father in law & NE Gov. James

Exon in 1978, five years before Commonwealth failed, in which my father in law convinced Gov Exon not to

reappoint NE State Banking Director William Riley because he was floating million notes from a Grand Island,

NE bank. I believe I can still get the banking records from that Grand Island, NE bank.

 

The banking scandals of the eighties were never fully brought to justice & that I feel is what lead US to the

current financial crisis.  The people responsible have been robbing US blind for a half century!

 

For this we carry $53 trillion due to democracy which we promote around the world with war, killing thousands

with our weapons of minor destruction? Democracy, two controlling parties putting themselves ahead of country

& getting rich through campaign finance along with contributors. Why wouldn't the rest of the world jump at the

opportunity?

 

 

Communism, socialism, & all the rest are evil? If I had made billions as the representatives & campaign contributors,

while running America $53 trillion in debt, I'd stick to my guns, those other forms of government are bad.

 

If I were the banks, insurance companies, CEOs with great minds & talent, & all who made out like a bandit, & received

bonuses out of our generosity, bailout $, while we go broke, I'd be telling the world how great democracy is too.

 

We'll pay the next four, six, eight years or more while democrats undo everything republicans did for the last eight years,

undoing everything democrats did  for eight years before that? What a plan, what management, genius!

 

The national debt is virtual according to Dubya & Dick, but they moved on to their millionaire lifestyle while paid our real

money as our virtual debt rises millions more every second.

 

 

Obviously a government of, for, & by the people.

 

 

Americans jump on board every time another American job takes a hit, union busted, less pay, lost benefits, while our

representatives of millionaire status enjoy all that, & campaign contributions, millions. Responsible homeowners are angry,

they paid their mortgage, lived within their budget, didn't get upside down, & now have to bail out the homeowners who

didn't make the payments, bought more than they could afford. The same people don't say much about that $53 trillion,

jobs disappearing to illegal immigration,  free trade promoted by our representatives while our health care is unaffordable

due to illegal immigration, & our tax $ supports people who can't or won't even learn English. We need to spend more to

learn their language.

 

 

Those deadbeats who bought a house they couldn't afford, lost the job to an illegal immigrant, & free trade are all to blame.

Like auto workers, they made too much, had benefits like health care & retirement & it drives up the cost of everything so

we can't afford to buy anything on our $8 an hour.

 

 

Did anyone ever think we can't afford these cars for several reason, starting with our representation cutting our wages, giving

our jobs away to illegal immigration in return for contributions so contributors could make more $? Do the American people

who buy foreign because America companies can't build as good a product as cheap compared to countries with slave labor,

can't spend the money on design & engineering because the slaves make pennies & those countries pollute the world? The

pollution is still getting to US, took a little longer but it's getting here.

 

 

Would it be worth it, past , present, & future, more cost effective to pay Americans more now & in the past?

What are the cost we're paying now? Add in the $53 trillion.

 

 

How foolish are the American people? This has been the greatest scam the world has ever seen & the American

people for some reason don't address the obvious, the real problem. Banking has been corrupt for over a half

century & it's documented crime while we hand over trillions & who is the FBI investigating? US, the small guy,

our prisons are full of US individuals of little consequence while trillions are stolen.

 

 

It isn't US, individuals, it's democracy, our representatives, the two parties accepting millions from un-American

corporations & agri corruption, contributors.

 

 

Our representatives have accepted $ to destroy US so those who contribute can profit in trillions. They turned a once

production capital into a playground for the rich, banking, insurance, mortgage, & whoever could afford to buy our

representation. After they ran the world financial system to ground, we bail them out while more of US lose our jobs &

Sorry but it can't work that way, that's how we got to $53 trillion, & it'll only add up faster every second we continue on

When we're ALL out of work, money, & our homes, there won't be anybody left to pay. It's a giant Ponzi scheme. Even

our representatives will lose pay, benefits, & their jobs in the end. Unless the dictator needs them. We the people, the

I have idea, anybody with a mortgage on a property valued at less than $300,000 is free &

clear of debt. If we're handing the banks our money, $ we'll be paying down for the next 100

years along with Social Security, what is the difference? We're just paying off the mortgage

early.

My mortgage was going to take the best part of my life to pay down anyway, so why not write it

off the books instead? It's a trade off! We're giving the banks the money, billions after they

made billions, & ran our economy to ground, & we'll have the $ we used to pay on monthly

house payments, to spend on the economy. Why should WE buy bad assets?

They thought they got buy with the greatest scam of all time but if we all go with this plan, We

the People win, & the banks, well they're on their own.  They lost the interest they would have

made on our old loans but that is the price they pay, interest they are paying US on our loan to

them.

They have billions, will have to loan it to make out. They might have to wait for the economy to

pick up as we spend our old monthly house payment & jobs pick up but they didn't care about

US so why would we care about them. We're the bank now, we're making them the loan this

time, why wouldn't our terms include our mortgage being paid off instead of being held hostage

to the tune of billions?

Fight's over, problem solved, economy is on the mend because I, along with millions of other

Americans who will pay down this stimulus as they have planned, both of Bush's stimulus, now

Obama's, & the trillions stolen from Social Security, were now free of debt. We have the old

monthly payment to spend on the economy.

The banks have money to loan to people who want to buy homes. The economy will take off

because we all have hundreds or thousands to spend every month & jobs will come back

because we have all this money to spend on goods & services.

Why wait for our representatives to figure this out when it's so simple? They didn't know what

they were doing anyway or we wouldn't have been in this mess, right? They are involved in the

crime, should be investigated, charged, & convicted.

 

US taxpayers are being taken in the greatest scam the world has ever seen,

we call it representation. Look at the situation, is it something you would

accept in any other? Would you buy a car under these circumstances?

 

In 1983 when Commonwealth Savings & Loan in Lincoln, NE went under,

every account was insured to $30,000, or so depositors thought. Nebraska

Legislature had passed LB291 insuring every account to $30k yet all the

depositors lost their $.

LB291 was the same as the FDIC except by the state & for only $30k, but it

was worthless. The courts didn't back the depositors because the courts were

NE courts I suppose & run by the same people who passed LB291 & who

also stole the money, millions, assets from Commonwealth.

 

Your representatives have US $53 trillion in the red, are bailing out the crooks

responsible who contributed $64 million to those representatives with another

$820 billion after $700 billion last year while they give themselves billions in

bonuses!

Not long ago Bush was on TV trying to calm the public, he stated the FDIC

insured every account under that umbrella to $250,000. If the banks failed today

would your money be safe or worth $250,000 & who would be responsible for

paying the depositors?

Think about it, government is handing out billions to shore up the banks, your

billions. The same government has US $53 trillion in the red. If the banks went

under who would pay you $250,000 if you had $250,000 in an account?

Did I just start a panic on Wall Street when it opens tomorrow? My suggestion

would be to ask, call, write, or email your representatives & ask who would pay

if your bank failed & you lost $, $50,000, 100,000, up to $250,000?

Would you believe them if they said there's nothing to worry about? Would you

believe them if they said you would be paid the amount you lost. Would the $

you receive have the same value the next day? We insure ourselves! It would be

just like the stimulus, national debt, $53 trillion in liability our government already

has US holding. Virtual to your representatives, real to you.

 

IT'S A GIANT PONZI SCHEME! MADOFF!

 

Campaign finance, every corporation the the country, every country in the world

is contributing to our representation which has US $53 trillion in the red. Our

representatives hand out tax cuts & incentives to these corporations we as

individuals absorb because these corporations create jobs yet the entire nation

is unemployed?

 

Consumer spending drive 70% of the economy, every home in America has

thousands in credit card debt, paying 20 & 30% interest while Credit card companies

contribute to our representatives. Our representatives make it impossible to file

bankruptcy on credit card debt. Payday loans do the same while charging 600%.

 

The US Postal service can't deliver a letter inside a week, an article last week

pointed out mail never being delivered, stacked in carrier's homes, garages, &

basements. Millions of $ charged in late fees on everything from cable TV, to boats,

& homes. No SEC regulation while banks, mortgage, & insurance companies which

contributed $64 million to our representatives accept billions in bailout with no

explanation as to where the money is.

 

We call this representation which promotes worldwide killing & torture in our name,

with our $/military claiming democracy the best thing since canned beer.

 

Bush, Cheney, Congress, & the Senate take US to war in Iraq, Bush claims

it will cost $50 billion, & two months after invading Iraq, major fighting is over? 

Thousands of lives, $600 billion, years later we're still there, & will be for years

to become just as with Israel.  Manipulated into war, killing thousands while

costing US taxpayers trillions of $.

 

The price of oil, free trade, tax cuts, & illegal immigration promoted by

our representatives in return for campaign contributions along with no regulation

by the SEC, has US in an economic tailspin. Oil reaching record highs while oil

companies recording record profits, billions of $ on leases from US taxpayers now

paying for bailout. Oil prices drop & oil tankers wait offshore for prices to rise as

gas prices increase & American taxpayers go broke.

 

Bush & co. have been lying, trying for months to cover up a recession while we

slide into a depression. If the American people can't see, recognize what is

happening, & continue to do nothing about the current crime being committed

by our representatives & campaign contributors, it will be the crime of all time.

I recently received from Reuben Worster of Lincoln, NE, the complete

story of the failing Commonwealth Savings & Loan & State Securities

in Nebraska, 1983. The receivership set up to help the depositors of

Commonwealth failed through embezzlement & theft of millions, assets stolen

by Nebraska representatives & prominent, all backed by the courts!

 

Our representatives in Washington DC are doing the same thing in the

$700 billion bailout today. For years our representatives & campaign

contributors have been manipulating the American taxpayer into poverty.

In the 1940s US corporations paid 50% of taxes, today they pay 10% &

individuals pay 90%. Through campaign finance our representatives have

broken unions, promoted illegal immigration to hold down wages, promoted

free trade putting millions of Americans out of work, started wars, {Vietnam

& Iraq} killing millions of people with our military & tax $!

 

These people are making billions, trillions of $ over the years while America

carriers trillions in debt. $53 trillion by some estimates & an infrastructure 

 $2 trillion needed for upgrade. The same representatives blame automakers

& accuse them of poor management over billions yet said nothing to CEOs of

banks, ins. mortgage, & oil companies. Our representatives have mismanaged

US trillions into debt & war yet they hold the same taxpayers bailing out the

current financial crisis hostage over $25 billion needed to keep one to three

million Americans on the job.

 

Our representatives contradict themselves in claiming campaign finance is

necessary in job creation so they hand out billions in tax cuts to corporate

contributors We the People absorb as individuals yet they would allow millions

to lose their jobs making the financial crisis they created catastrophic! Our

infrastructure wouldn't need $2 trillion for upgrades if contributors paid taxes

plus millions of Americans our representatives are all about putting to work

would have already been working on the infrastructure!

 

I have a letter in front of me dated 3-1-83, months before the failure of Common-

wealth,  which was sent by the FBI to Nebraska State Banking Director Paul

Amen, Nebraska State Attorney General Paul Douglas, US Attorney Ronald

Lahners, Regional Director Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Charles

Thacker, & Barry Lake, Legal Counsel Dept of Banking & Finance.

 

This letter clearly states that as a result of the FBI investigation, individuals

interviewed advised they participated in one loan for $1,250,000 in which

Sumner C. Copple, {Commonwealth President} received over $750,000 of the

money directly, & the person whose name was on the loan received none.

 

Before it was over Commonwealth depositors lost over $30 million, stolen &

embezzled assets by Nebraska’s elite, representatives, bankers, the receiver

for Commonwealth, the legal system, one man investigating & his nine year

old son died.

 

State Attorney Paul Douglas was later convicted, received over $44,000 if

memory serves me. This letter was not followed up on by Paul Douglas or the

rest of these Nebraska officials & kept from the County Attorney when Common-

wealth failed in Nov.1983 & was being investigated. Paul Douglas sat in on a

meeting in 1978, five years before Commonwealth failed, with then Gov James

Exon & with Bob Melcher who reported to Exon that Grand Island, NE

Banker, Riley, who Exon was going to reappoint to State Banking Director, was

floating million dollar notes.

 

Exon never appointed Riley but when Bob Kerry was elected Gov of Nebraska

he appointed Paul Amen to Nebraska State Banking Director & the rest is history!

State Attorney General Paul Douglas did nothing to prevent the appointment &

in fact was guilty of crime, involved. Commonwealth & State Security investors

lost millions even though Nebraska Legislature passed LB291, establishing the

NDIGC, Nebraska Depository Institution Guaranty Corporation which guaranteed

up to $30,000 each account as so advertised, long before Commonwealth failed.

 

Depositors were misled into believing their $ was insured by the state of Nebraska

Legislature to $30k per account no differently than the FDIC does federally up to

$100k. In the end the State of Nebraska stole the money through legislature & the

courts.

 

The State of Nebraska allowed through the courts the theft of millions of $,

assets of Commonwealth & we’re still paying today in the $700 billion bailout

because we allowed it to happen.

 

The truth about why the US is in the financial mess we are, our

representatives, the two controlling parties, campaign finance, &

the rich who buy our representation! The banks, insurance companies,

& all those we're bailing out paid $64 million to our representatives in

return for NO regulation. They all made billions at our expense, partied

all the way to the bank, & are going to make billions again at our expense.

After the banking scandals of the 1980's it wouldn't seem possible unless

you know the truth about the scandals of the eighties.

 

EXON, J. James, a Senator from Nebraska; born in Geddes, Charles Mix County, S. Dak., August 9, 1921; attended the public schools; attended University of Omaha, Omaha, Nebr., 1939-1941; United States Army Signal Corps 1942-1945; United States Army Reserve 1945-1949; branch manager of a financial corporation; founder and president of an office equipment firm 1953-1971; Governor of Nebraska 1971-1979; elected as a Democrat to the United States Senate in 1978; reelected in 1984 and again in 1990 and served from January 3, 1979 to January 3, 1997; not a candidate for reelection in 1996; was a resident of Lincoln, Neb., until his death, due to cancer, on June 10, 2005; lay in state in the rotunda of the Nebraska state capitol, June 14-15, 2005; interment in Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln.

In 1978, while Gov. of Nebraska, James Exon was about to appoint a

banker from Grand Island, NE, {Riley} to Nebraska State Banking Director.

A Nebraska man with family working in banking met with Gov. Exon &

then NE Attorney General Paul Douglas & let them know of irregularities

in banking practices by Riley. Gov. Exon never appointed Riley to State

Banking Director but Bob Kerry, when elected Gov. did!

 

Even though Paul Douglas was NE Attorney General & sat in on the

meeting with Exon when informed of banking irregularities, Douglas

never did anything to prevent Bob Kerry from appointing Riley & in fact

never did anything about the crimes reported. Paul Douglas was later

convicted, {later to be overturned on appeal} of crimes related to the

failing savings & loans & banking which soon spread across America. 

 

In the coming weeks I will be showing what happened & how it unfolded

according to facts brought to me by people who lost money in Common-

wealth Savings & Loan & Nebraska State Securities. The story of one

man who reported the crime before it happened only to see it covered up

all the way to DC & the story of another man who lost his life's savings

meant to care for his handicapped son. Both men American Veterans,

the first man has since passed way, & the second has fought for the past

twenty five years for justice.

 

When finished the American people & the world will see why & how we

are in the situation we're now in. The crooks in DC along with campaign

contributors were never held accountable, through their position as

representatives & lawmakers corrupted the banking industry along with

courts while making billions at the expense of the American people,

including American Veterans! Included will be the death of a man & his

9 year old son, missing tapes of sexual abuse involving everybody who

was anybody in Nebraska politics, & one former Nebraska representative

with the most damaging proof of all but won't come forward for fear of his

along with the USDA refused to investigate. Highly subsidized dairy products

sold in major fast food & retail outlets. WINCO, Burger King,

McDonalds, & more. Republican mentality a fine lining for corporate

un-American & agri corruption contributor's pockets.

We used to pick up good milk, day after delivery with 20 days self life from

one customer, dump it, & then deliver bad milk to the next customer. There's

millions of $ wasted in dairy yet our tax $ subsidizes it. Your representatives

have run America into the dirt, balk at $25 billion for the big three & take no

responsibility even though we have over $10 trillion national debt, war in Iraq

approaching $600 billion, $700 billion bailout, & list perpetual!

Can they deny their own memo?

 

 

 

Look at the pictures above, is it hog food or rerun as indicated by the picture

directly above? At the top of the pallet it says HOG FOOD but near the bottom

it says, RE RUN. Horizon organic?

 

We used to deliver milk one day at stores like WINCO, pick up bad milk the

next day, just like the memo says. Sometimes they just let people buy bad milk

& return it, they had no idea what was good or bad until people complained! If

you said anything like I did, you were fired, like I was! Better off if you let kids

get sick!

 

To all the people who see this & do nothing, think about it when you pay medical

or funeral expenses. I grew up around dairy, dad drove a cream truck in the 50s,

60s, & I milked cows for my evil sister & her husband who now have the largest

puppy mill in Nebraska. I called the USDA & tried to get this company to clean up

it's facility. Your representatives who take money from agri corruption put

contributions ahead of your families health.

 

Interim Gov. Jim Risch, just elected to the US Senate, nor Idaho Gov Otter

cared if kids got sick, just campaign contributions!

Mislabeled food & lax oversight are threats to those with allergies. Yesterday's

paper had an article about alcohol, today's paper an article about unapproved

drugs killing thousands of Americans every year & costing US taxpayer billions,

& our representatives take money through campaign finance from these

companies!

 

Idaho Gov. Otter refused to investigate kickbacks in transportation or un-

sanitary transportation & warehousing in the highly subsidized dairy industry,

his response was the FDA & USDA do inspections.  The FDA & USDA are

underfunded, inspect a very small percentage of anything. That's why I had to

call the USDA! Some trailers hadn't been washed out in two years or more! 100

degree days in the Idaho desert, smelled like dead cows, flies, & the portable

outhouse used to sit right beside the milk on the dock. Got milk, three a day?

 

Ask Gov Otter  about lax oversight, how often they do inspections, & why he

doesn't care. Is this what you pay him for?

Just like the war in Iraq, Bush's shell game starting at $50 billion

which Congress fell for & continues to appropriate $ already just

under $600 billion, suggested to become trillions, Bush's Treasury

Secretary Paulson, {remember Powell} again shifts the target of Wall

Interesting the new approach & wording, securitization. What happens

when the new players, investors who buy bonds consisting of credit cards,

student loans, & car loans bundled, valued at $2.5 trillion, face the same

failure/collapse as securitized subprime mortgages?

 

It came to light $64 million was contributed by those we're bailing out, to

our representatives who in turn never regulated which led to the mess

we're now bailing these guys out of.

 

Who will the American taxpayer be bailing out next & how much did they

contribute to our representatives who are including them in this bailout

as well as the next when it happens? They already enjoyed the CEO pay,

the bonuses, made out like a bandit, tax cuts, parties, & incentives We the

People absorbed as individuals. Remember, in 1940 corporations paid 50%

of income taxes, today, thanks to campaign finance, they pay 10% & We

the People as individuals pay 90%.

 

Politicians always tell US taxpayers about the tax cuts we're getting? Can't

give everybody tax cuts, infrastructure trillions in need of repair, at war costing

billions, ten trillion in debt, & maintain/remain solvent. No wonder everybody in

the country has $10k on credit cards, mortgage, a second, car payment, boat, &

can't afford it on $10 an hour. We're all living like government, in the red. Our

representatives have US trained to live beyond our means because they accept

campaign contributions in return for tax cuts creating a perpetual lie which has

US in the current mess we're in.

 

How long/many times are We the People going to go for this shell game?

When the people we pay to represent US are both in bed & the pocket of

corporate un-America & agri-corruption, we'll never be represented &

always pay all the taxes & bail them out after they make bank while

breaking US first as individuals & then as a country!

 

Doesn't matter who we elect as long as we allow campaign finance to

continue! How ridiculous does it have to get before We the People

catch on?

 

War in Iraq: Originally $50 billion, now $600 billion, projected to become

possibly $3 trillion.

 

$700 billion bailout:  $2.5 trillion, $700 trillion? How many trillion when we

bailout again, next time?

 

Didn’t take long to answer that question, I ask who is next & the auto makers first

& then the states jump up & down begging for $$$! I’ve been saying ever since

Bush took office that the federal government is taking all the tax $ & leaving the

states to fend for themselves. Where were our representatives? In the pocket of

corporate contributors, a fine lining to keep our money safe in their pockets no

doubt. That is the problem with two controlling parties in the pocket of corporate

un-America & agri-corruption through campaign finance.

 

 

Airlines contributed & we had no security, banks & mortgage companies

contributed & we had no regulation, auto makers contributed & we have no fuel

efficient cars, 0il companies & we had $4 a gallon gas. Where did your

representatives invest their money? Campaign finance is killing US! Full financial

disclosure by all our representatives all the way back to before the banking

scandals of the eighties would tell US taxpayers the truth. Too bad Americans 

don’t have the balls or brain they were born with, otherwise they might demand it.

 

I always disagreed when it was said 9/11 was genius, a fifteen year old could

have done it. Like most people I never gave Bush much credit when it came to

intelligence either. I guess walking away with billions in oil, he proved me wrong.

How much did the Bush dynasty make since Dubya came into office. It was a

well designed & accomplished plan with the American people the losers, again.

Why would We the People pass up or sell the opportunity of a lifetime?

All the failing banks, insurance, & mortgage investment companies were

great investments not long ago, in business for years. We may not have

been looking at these companies as an investment but through campaign

finance, incompetence on the part of people running these companies &

our mis-representation, we own the majority of stock. Never sell more

than 49% & enjoy our newfound wealth. It may have been luck buying in

the way we did but why squander the opportunity? We the People are in

for life anyway, why not enjoy the investments that just fell into our laps,

investments only the rich were making bank on? Why pay higher taxes

when our new investments can pay for infrastructure?

As new owners of AIG, Fannie, Freddie, & every large corporation that we

bail out with our tax $, it's time to start acting like shareholders in those

companies as well as the largest corporation of all, America. The tax cuts

the corporations acquired through campaign finance now belong to US

taxpayers who as individuals once absorbed these tax cuts. I have to

believe as the new owners the American people no longer will pay 90%

of taxes & when things turn around we'll no longer have to pay all the

taxes plus increased taxes to build an infrastructure that has been

neglected for a half century.

 

 

It's time to be the boss & the American people would be fools to miss the

opportunity through the acquisition of our new corporations. Would the

shareholders of these companies who paid billions/trillions to their CEO,

board, lobbyist, & contributed campaign finance do any different?

 

 

I can't help but wonder when I'll receive my airline tickets to Scotland so

as to enjoy a round of golf at the expense of campaigns contributors

instead of my representatives at my expense. I should like a report on

the finances of my newly acquired corporations on my desk ASAP!

 

 

In short, the American people would be fools for NOT firing those

responsible for the economic problems we face, starting at the White

House, Congress, US Senate, &  officials in charge of the failures we as

the new owners have acquired! Let's not forget the lack of regulation by

our misrepresentatives who have no doubt made money in the markets

involving these businesses at the expense of US taxpayers.

 

 

I've said for a long time that it is time for full financial disclosure by all

our representatives. If the current situations doesn't sound the alarm I

guess the American people are deaf!

 

A financial collapse worse than 1929, a threat to the world economy, & those

responsible, starting at the White House, Congress, & the US Senate along with

corporate un-America & agri-corruption through campaign finance use US

taxpayer's $ to bail themselves out. Criminals covering up the crime they're

guilty of while putting the responsibility on the America people who pay their

wages, provide health care, & retirement we lose more of everyday?

 

Through campaign finance, special interest have held US hostage, made trillions

of $, deliberately stopped the development of alternative energy while pumping

trillions of US tax $ into terrorist nations for oil. Our representatives who accept

$ from special in order to get elected in return hand over trillions in tax cuts

We the People as individuals absorb. The same representatives interfere with

other nations to the point they attack as they did with 9/11 & our

representatives then start war sending Americans to die while family in America

lose their homes & pay all the taxes evaded through campaign finance.

 

Not only are the American people being taken in the greatest scam the world

has ever seen, the world economy is in fact on the brink of failure due to the

same greed. Abandoning free market capitalism while waging war through

democracy, the tool they use to steal from every man, woman, & child in the

world is hypocritical at best & the best weapon/alley terrorist have.

 

When will the American people check their package? Chances are, before the

American people realize they have neither the balls or brain they were born

with, America will be broke & the rest of the world will be waging war against

the American people for allowing our representatives to run the world economy

to ground while our representatives get rich along with their corporate partners

in crime.

"Of course, this is a time when we have to do away with our party politics &

we have to ACT like Americans. We have to join the 300 million other

Americans on behalf of our fellow citizens. It is a time for action."

 

Nextrev.'s view: It's way past time for action. A statement making obvious

the party is more important than the country or people, until or unless a

situation arises making obvious just one failure of President Bush, a

republican like McCain, just eliminated him as a man capable of leading

America. We the People aren't acting, we are Americans, 24-7 from the day

we're born until death!

 

McCain has made several mistakes lately, after eight years of Dubya's failure,

I can't see electing someone who is making mistakes before getting elected.

Suggesting Obama has no foreign policy experience & then picking a woman

with the same lack of experience as VP so as to pick up votes that would have

gone to Hillary Clinton, is not in the best interest of the Nation. Transparent,

self-serving, party politics is not leadership.

 

At a time when our current President, Congress, & Senate have US in a tailspin

economically from war to recession we don't need more mistakes, we need

leadership! If the American people can't see through these deadbeat politicians

with corporate un-America & agri-corruption buying our representation through

campaign finance, it doesn't matter which party wins, the people & country lose! 

 

Idaho Gov. Butch Otter is all about $240 million for roads. If state legislators &

the Gov. can't come up with the money, they haven't looked at campaign

finance & the millions spent on the presidential election. It's unimaginable that

the American people allow taxes to keep going up as crooked politicians run

America into bankruptcy while billions of $ are tossed around by both parties

through campaign finance.

don't care if it's the environment, human rights, or murder, the United

States is worse than any of the countries or people our representatives

Last Updated: Wednesday, 4 January 2006, 15:23 GMT E-mail this to a friend Printable version The hum you hear is from lobbyists By Paul Reynolds World Affairs correspondent, BBC News website   Abramoff could spill more beans US lobbyist Jack Abramoff has pleaded guilty to fraud, paving the way for him to co-operate in an inquiry into corruption in Congress. But what are the ramifications of the affair? Washington is like a giant beehive in which the buzz comes from lobbyists seeking access to the queen bee - the US Congress and government. The business of Washington is government. You either work in it or around it. And Washington's business is the world's business. Everyone does it Everybody - businesses, industries, professions, trade associations, environmentalists, human rights activists, political parties, citizens groups, the media, the lot - has an interest in Washington, which is where the lobbyists come in. There are now some 35,000 of them, all supposedly doing their diligent work arguing for their clients or organisations to members of Congress and to officials in the administration. There is nothing corrupt in lobbying in itself, of course. It is a necessary part of the formation of laws. Interested parties have to have a say. It is practised all over the world. (One reader suggests that lobbyists should however have no better access than ordinary citizens and certainly those with more money might get more access). The European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg has for example experienced a huge increase in lobbying in recent years as the powers of the parliament have grown to the point where its agreement is now required before an EU law can be made. And some forms of lobbying are more elegant than others. Embassies as lobbies For example, some lobbyists go by other names - they call themselves embassies. Some of the finest lobbying in Washington is done at plush dinners at places like the British Embassy where senators and representatives, secretaries of government departments and key opinion makers from the media are gently buttered up, so that when an issue arises that needs their attention, they will take the call. One of the most interesting, if less titillating, parts of the recent book on Washington by the former British Ambassador Sir Christopher Meyer is where he stressed how important an embassy is. He was himself extremely good in the art of lobbying dressed up as dining and it would indeed be short-termism of an extreme kind for any government to give up or downscale such a well-oiled machine in a city where influence is everything. Not long ago, for example, when one of those transatlantic trade wars was looming (over bananas, I think) the US government selected cashmere sweaters from Scotland as one of its targets for punitive import duties. The British embassy machine was discreetly mobilised and lo and behold, after a few visits, chats and contacts, the sweaters were removed from the list. The case of Jack Abramoff It is not all so discreet, as the current scandal in Washington over the activities of lobbyist Jack Abramoff, reveals. The house that Jack built took lobbying beyond argument into corruption. Mr Abramoff reached a plea bargain with federal prosecutors - and added his own courtroom repentance, in which he asked for "forgiveness and redemption from the Almighty". He pleaded guilty to a number of selected corruption charges, promised to repay purloined money and pay evaded taxes and, significantly, help further investigations into members of Congress and their staff - all in exchange for a much lighter sentence than the 30 years he could have faced. The two scams The court documents showed two of Mr Abramoff's operations. The first was to take millions of dollars off Native American tribes seeking to further their casino interests (casinos on reservation land being absolute gold mines these days) by recommending a lobbying company run by his partner, Michael Scanlon. Mr Scanlon charged the innocent tribes - which wanted help in navigating the choppy congressional waters - vastly inflated sums and paid Mr Abramoff 50% of the gains. The tribes paid out $53m in fees, of which, the documents say, some $20m went to Jack Abramoff. The second was bribery of a classical kind. The court papers say that Mr Abramoff and Mr Scanlon "offered and provided a stream of things of value to public officials in exchange for a series of official acts and influence and agreements to provide official acts and influence. These things of value included but are not limited to, foreign and domestic travel, golf fees, frequent meals, entertainment, election support for candidates for government office, employment for relatives of officials and campaign contributions". What the congressman did The plea bargain mentions that "Representative #1" - said by the US media to be Republican Congressman Bob Ney from Ohio - was taken to the Marianas Islands, to the Super Bowl in Florida and to Scotland for a golf trip. In return Representative #1, it is said, supported bills, met clients of Mr Abramoff, backed one client who was after a telephone contract and made a public statement in support of another. Congressman Ney's office said that what he did was "because of his understanding of the merits and facts of the situation and not because of any improper influence". The role of golf in lobbying It is interesting how susceptible middle-aged members of Congress can be to golf trips. Other media reports say that one of Mr Abramoff's guests on the Scottish trip (to the home of golf, St Andrews, no less) was Tom DeLay, the Texas congressman who has had to step down as House majority leader to defend himself against his own corruption charges. The Washington Post reported that Mr DeLay's airfare was charged to Mr Abramoff's credit card. It is illegal for a lobbyist to pay for travel by a member of Congress. Mr Abramoff was closely linked to the Republican Party but his clients included Democrats as well. The whole political establishment is therefore under a cloud. No wonder Washington is now keenly awaiting the results of the further investigations now under way with Jack Abramoff's help. Lobbyists multiply The growth of lobbyists has been huge over recent years and so have their fees. A recent Washington Post survey showed that a well-connected lobbyist (perhaps someone who had been in the administration or Congress) could command a starting salary of $300,000 a year. Retainers run to about $20,000 a month per client and more. The growth was attributed in the survey to a combination of an expansion of government, the control of the White House and Congress by Republicans keen to develop this part of the governmental process, and the increasing realisation by companies they needed help in securing benefits and preventing damage to their interests. According to veteran journalist Elizabeth Drew, who wrote about lobbying in the New York Review of Books in 2005: "Corruption has always been present in Washington, but in recent years it has become more sophisticated, pervasive, and blatant than ever." Where to begin examining the extraordinary career of Jack Abramoff? His work try

ing to secure a visa for the great Zairian kleptocrat Mobutu Sese Seko, perhaps, or

the bilking of an estimated $66 million out of Native American tribes, clients he

described as "monkeys," "troglodytes," and "idiots"? Or his leadership of a 1980s

think tank financed, unbeknownst to him apparently, by the intelligence arm of

South Africa's apartheid regime?

 

No, the chapter of our man's story that matters most at the moment begins with

a toast given by House Majority Leader Tom DeLay during a New Year's trip they

both took to Saipan in the Northern Mariana Islands in 1997. "When one of my

closest and dearest friends, Jack Abramoff, your most able representative in

Washington, D.C., invited me to the islands, I wanted to see firsthand the free-

market success and the progress and reform you have made," DeLay said before

an audience of Abramoff's clients in the islands' garment industry—whom, upon

his return to Washington, he helped win an extended exemption from federal

immigration and labor laws.

 

The most salient fact about Abramoff these days is that he may prove DeLay's

undoing. The House majority leader has so far commanded extraordinary, tight-

lipped loyalty from the Republican ranks in Congress in the face of scandals

detailed here. But precedent is not on his side. Newt Gingrich's political demise

was a slow death by a thousand cuts. Today there is already plenty of speculation

in Washington that the White House is wavering about DeLay: As much as the

president prizes loyalty, he is intolerant of sleaze and impatient with damaging

distractions from his agenda. "Within six months, Karl will force him out," a senior

 administration official from the first term says, speaking, of course, of Karl Rove.

At least one conservative redoubt, the Wall Street Journal's editorial page, has

already thrown open the door. Mr. DeLay has "an unsavory whiff that could have

GOP loyalists reaching for the political Glade if it gets any worse," the paper wrote

 last week.

 

That whiff can be traced to the pungent Jack Abramoff. As a high-school student

in Beverly Hills, Calif., Abramoff was a square-jawed, broad-shouldered

weightlifting champion.* He went to college at Brandeis and to law school at

Georgetown. Like Rove and Lee Atwater before him, it was in his college days that

 he first garnered attention. He became chairman of the College Republicans in

1981. Even then, Abramoff was a fragrant figure: While running the College

Republicans, he also chaired the USA Foundation, a group that enjoyed tax-

exempt status because it purported to be nonpartisan. In October 1984, the USA

Foundation staged anniversary celebrations marking the first anniversary of

Reagan's invasion of Grenada—jamborees that the group insisted had nothing to

do with Reagan's re-election campaign. A spokesman explained Abramoff's dual

role to Howard Kurtz of the Washington Post: "When he has his College

Republican hat on, he's partisan. When he has his U.S.A. hat on, he's nonpartisan."

After a stint in the movie business as president of Regency Entertainment Group

(most notable for the making of the Commie-bashing Dolph Lundgren flick Red

Scorpion), Abramoff went on to become a major Washington macher. He signed

up as a lobbyist in 1994, catching the Gingrich wave. He started at Preston Gates

Ellis & Rouvelas Meeds, which boasted of his connections to the Hill's conservative

leadership. Later Greenberg Traurig poached him, let him loose to trawl for

millions, and then, after his troubles began to unfold, let him go.

 

Abramoff's defining innovation on K Street—the Avenue of the Lobbyists—has

been to wear his political and business hats at the same time. He is an operator

and also an ideologue. Take, for example, his success in getting part of the

fortune he siphoned off the Indian gambling interests into conservative coffers.

This is how the game worked: Abramoff's biggest client was the Coushatta Nation

of Louisiana. The deal he delivered for the tribe was congressional support for tax

exemptions and opposition to efforts by other tribes to set up rival casinos. In

return, Abramoff got an estimated $32 million, a chunk of the $66 million he

made all together from Indian gaming clients. The money was paid in lobbying

fees and contributions to Abramoff-selected charitable organizations and nonprofit

groups with strong Republican ties. For example, Abramoff helped get the chief

of the Coushatta invited to a meeting with President George W. Bush in early

2001, set up by Grover Norquist, once Abramoff's executive director at the College

Republicans and now Washington's pre-eminent conservative lobbyist. It was

suggested that a donation to Norquist's think tank, Americans for Tax Reform,

might be appreciated. Abramoff pressed the Coushattas. The $25,000 check was

sent to ATR.

 

Now this and much more is fodder for reporters. The details of the Coushatta

payment to Americans for Tax Reform was reported in the Texas Observer and the

Lake Charles American Press. The Knight Ridder and Gannett papers have been

falling over each other to trace the huge donations made to the Capital Athletic

Foundation, a charity set up by Abramoff, and to Eshkol Academy, the Jewish

prep school he and his wife established in Maryland. (When I met Abramoff two

years ago for lunch—a second sitting at Signatures, a restaurant that he owns on

Pennsylvania Avenue—he did not want to reveal much about his clients, but he

waxed on proudly about Eshkol.) The Washington Post has delivered a drip-feed

of stories about the arrangements Abramoff made for DeLay to play golf in

Scotland, visit South Korea, and meet Russian oil tycoons in Moscow.

(Congressmen are, of course, allowed to play golf and travel abroad, but not when

their expenses are paid by lobbyists or foreign groups.)

 

Neck and neck with the journalists are federal investigators. The Justice

Department and the Interior Department are looking into Abramoff's use of

charitable foundations as businesses and nonprofit political groups as conduits for

foreign money. The Senate Finance Committee is also investigating Abramoff's use

of tax-exempt entities; the Senate Indian Affairs Committee is questioning his

treatment of the tribes. The latter, which is chaired by Arizona Sen. John McCain,

released a slew of e-mails written by Abramoff that offered a glimpse into the

disdain in which he seems to hold the clients he pickpockets. "I think the key

thing to remember with all these clients is that they are annoying, but that the

annoying losers are the only ones which have this kind of money and part with it

so quickly," he wrote in an e-mail to Michael Scanlon, his partner in working the

tribes and a former aide to DeLay.

 

Abramoff is an orthodox Jew and DeLay is a committed Christian; their

relationship is rooted in their parallel faiths. They were introduced more than a

decade ago by Rabbi Daniel Lapin, the South African-born radio talk-show host

who established Toward Tradition, a nonprofit coalition of Jews and Christians

that aims to advance the agenda of the devout. Since Abramoff's troubles began,

he and DeLay have sought to distance themselves from the other. But DeLay

can't shake Abramoff loose so easily—not after their trips abroad, the major role

Abramoff played in DeLay's well-financed and successful run for whip, the public

praise DeLay heaped on Abramoff for helping bring Native Americans into the

Republican fold. Abramoff has hired a number of ex-DeLay staffers, worked

closely with the congressman on trade issues, and was partly responsible for

DeLay's trips to Britain and Russia. And he has contributed tens of thousands of

dollars to DeLay's various political organizations. Given the unfolding details of

Abramoff's extraordinary three-ring circus of lobbying, political fund-raising, and

supposed nonprofit work, the danger for the House majority leader is that the

Abramoff story has only just begun to come out.

 

As for Abramoff, he is now the needy client. Andrew Blum, a spokesman for

Abbe Lowell of Chadbourne & Parke, a law firm that Abramoff now employs,

argues that some of Abramoff's clients did not know he had a relationship with

DeLay. That's a long way from the toast in Saipan.

Funny thing about the blog in a republican state during an election

year, Damage control is all too obvious. Everything negative is

countered with spin as if the newspapers & media is all lies. If you

mention the economy being in bad shape, GOP spin suggest a

millionaire every twenty minutes.

 

If you hint the GOP is lying or whining they claim you're calling names, 

they want your name & address? If this is leadership we're in a world

of hurt, terrorist can't lose against these losers or people who

would fall for the lies these fools babble while the obvious is staring US

in the face.

 

Campaign finance & the two controlling parties breaking America!

America is in a tailspin from war to fuel prices, free trade, illegal immigration, economy, banking,

foreclosures, E Coli, Salmonella,  infrastructure $2 trillion in the red, to trucking with hundreds

of thousands of drivers too sick to be driving yet the American people continue to do nothing.

563,000 drivers eligible for full disability benefits with accidents in the news daily. Fuel prices

have taken thousands of carriers out of business,  over 200,000 trucks off the road this year

alone while the nation was in need of over 100,000 trucks before the year began.

 

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration  is FAILING, acknowledges it hasn't completed

ANY of eights recommendations that US Safety regulators have proposed since 2001! "We have

a major public safety problem & we haven't corrected it." Gerald Donaldson, senior research

director at the Washington-based Advocates for Highway & Auto Safety " You have an agency

that is favorably disposed to maintaining the integrity of the nation's economic situation."

 

I can testify through my experience of driving truck for ten years & working in freight

brokerage for the past year that the trucking industry is & will continue to be a major economic

disaster & the infrastructure of the United States of America is in a shambles! Congress while

taking campaign contributions from agri corruption & corporate un-America has neglected roads

to the tune of billions if not trillions of $ while giving tax cuts to contributors. Ag related business,

while receiving  a $280 billion farm bill don't pay carriers break even money to operate their trucks! 

 

Had our representatives put money into the infrastructure instead of giving tax cuts in the money

making years, we wouldn't be looking at tax increases today. We're paying billions for war, free

trade is taking jobs while countries which benefit use more oil while driving the cost of gas up & the

representatives who promoted free trade & war want to raise taxes on fuel & vehicle

registration to pay for roads? Should Congress put up a huge sign suggesting tax cuts come after

infrastructure & other necessities? How about, Priorities first, tax cuts to millionaires can wait.

 

With 200,000 fewer trucks available due to bankruptcy, truckers are turning the tables & charging

$2.80 a mile, a full dollar a mile profit on average. Food prices can do nothing but go up while

our representatives hand out billions to agri corruption while ag businesses hold independent truckers

hostage  by paying $1.30 a mile while breaking truckers because it costs approximately $1.60 to $1.70

a mile to break even. On the other side of that, remaining carriers charge $2.80 to $3 a mile which is robbery

as well. With all the sick drivers, rip offs on both sides breaking carriers while  driving food prices up,

along with all the log book & inspections violations, the FMCSA is failing miserably & we're paying far

more than need be for food, other service, & product.

 

At the same time President Bush opens up the Mexican border to Mexican trucks that don't pass

inspections while driver compliance is nonexistent, & Mexican carriers pay far less for fuel while

Americans get sick & die from salmonella & E Coli. Like the FMCSA the USDA & FDA are just three

government agencies failing under the leadership of our representatives taking money from

contributors making a fortune while Americans die in Iraq & at home.

 

Next headline: Big Oil profits favor investors, not exploration.

America's & agri corruption's share & need money for education? Are the American people really

I sent the following letter to the speaker of the house as well as all my other elected congressional representatives and

even Barak Obama and the Federal Reserve Board months ago with zero response (needless to say) If the government

is really worried about he mortgage meltdown and the effects on the stock market and the overall economy perhaps

they’d take heed. I stumbled onto your website looking for info on crop subsidies. Good work!

 

Ms. Pelosi,

I am more aware than most of the root causes of the "mortgage meltdown" I have been in

commercial lending for thirty years now and I saw this coming two years ago. I have had

this idea for some time and I have tried to share it with Senators Feinstein and Boxer

(by way of e-mails) with little, if any interest.  I can only hope that this will make

it to your desk for your information and consideration.

Many homeowners have very significant savings (tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars)

in tax deferred accounts like IRA's and 401K's. They would be willing to use some of that

money to save their homes from foreclosure but the Federal and State governments will get

almost 50% of any early withdrawals (before the age of 59&1/2) in penalties and ordinary income

taxes. That's too steep to bear; most folks will simply walk away as a matter of sound economics.

 

I have a suggestion; let people take that money out without the penalties and taxes, if it is

SPECIFICALLY used to pay down (out of arrears) or payoff their home (primary residences only)

mortgages. The federal govt. doesn't have to chip in any money, just forgo some future potential

revenue streams.

This is going to pull a lot of U.S. homes and families out of foreclosure and preserve RE values

for all the others; it makes sense. The really believe the politician to write this bill is going

to be hailed; don't let me down; I constantly have to come to your defense in this predominantly,

red-neck Republican community.

As individuals we can do nothing, just go along with government, write or call our representatives, but as John makes clear in this email to

his representatives, they don't listen or even respond! The reason government doesn't work for US taxpayers is that there aren't enough

people like John Carmichael. I'll get back with more after I get home from working my second part time job I'm working to avoid foreclosure.

 

 

 

Developing countries benefit from free trade promoted by our representatives. Now these developing

countries need oil to produce goods we used to make in the US which is driving up the cost of oil,

fuel, & everything we buy. Free trade promoted by our representatives is responsible for driving up

the cost of everything after taking all those American jobs along with illegal immigration also

promoted by our representatives as a favor to campaign contributors for cheap labor & to hold down

wages. The same representatives we provide health care, retirement, also get auto pay raises

which we lose more of everyday while Social Security, Medicare, & Medicaid go broke. 

 

If the American people don't demand full financial disclosure by all our representatives dating

back to before NAFTA, after the obvious problems created by the same representatives, we'd have

to be the most gullible people on earth. We're reminded everyday of how great it is to live in America

yet we allow our representatives to sell US out while they profit & it has finally come back through

our economy & is just starting to break US!

 

If our representatives have nothing to hide they won't mind providing all we ask. Every penny contributed,

who contributed, who received, bills & laws passed & who benefitted. Where our representatives invested

their money in foreign markets as well as US. Let's see how much money the Bush family has made on

oil since the Gulf War, including the Iraq War. The way Dubya is pushing the same intel they used to

promote the Iraq war you'd have to be a fool to not realize the Bush dynasty profits with every spike in oil

prices every time there is a war in the gulf region. Look at the history of oil & fuel prices & you can see,

anybody in the oil business, especially the President, Congress, & Senate could manipulate US into a

war in which they stand to profit in millions if not billions.

Look at the last spike, PDVSA Strike, Iraq War, Asian Growth, & Weaker dollar. Asian growth &

weaker dollar due to free trade & war in Iraq, oil man in the White House! Who benefits from war in

Iran more than Bush with less than a year in office?

 

It wouldn't be too damn bright of the American people to allow George Bush, just because he's

president, to break America as he makes billions of $ on oil & God knows what else. An oil man

starts a war based on lies & drives the price of oil to over $100 a barrel while using billions of gallons

of fuel/oil in his war, all the while claiming we need to break our addiction to oil?

 

The President, Congress, & US Senate are all failing miserably, not only failing but failing criminally!

They have US in a war based on lies, the dollar is worthless, & the US economy in the crapper. Every-

day there is another representative, city, county, state, or federal in the news for crimes ranging from

NY Gov. in prostitution, Idaho Senator in gay activity in airport men's room, to campaign finance in

several states, & it's been going on for decades! These dead beats have been taking campaign

contributions for years, giving tax cuts & incentives in return, as well as subsidizing some as with agri-

corruption with billions in a farm bill while agriculture is enjoying profits never realized before.

 

On top of all this every government agency in the country is failing to the tune of billions of $!

Government employees are traveling around the world first class, eating steak & lobster, spending

millions, & the American people paying for it while dying in Iraq don't have the balls or brain to say or do

anything about it! From the INS to FEMA we're losing our ass through government failure & the American

people won't come together. Terrorist can't lose, their best weapon & allies are US!

 

Look at the counters to the left, all the education in this country, begging for funding from the same

government which has US in war based on lies. Begging for our own tax $ yet kids who can't afford

a college education sign up for the military to get the GI bill & die in a war so unpopular a draft couldn't

support the same war because protests & riots would put an end to it. Over a million dollars a minute

the debt rises while the American people lose their lives, homes, freedom, & everything is in the

crapper.

 

We would have to be a bunch of idiots to continue letting politicians take money from corporate

un-America & Agri corruption while our elected officials promote war & give billions of $ back to contributors

while America goes broke & individuals lose everything from life to homes while paying all the taxes. We

had the American Revolution just a couple hundred years ago to get from beneath this yoke of tyranny

& Bush has US pissing on the sacrifice by all those who died for our freedom.

 

The US economy is in the crapper, housing market & banking industry in major trouble, had to be bailed

out with taxpayer money while taxpayers lose their homes & send family to Bush's war in Iraq? The

trucking industry is losing thousands of independent truckers due to high fuel costs & driving the cost

of everything we buy up. If shipping costs ever catch up with fuel costs which might see diesel go to $5

a gallon or more we'll be paying $10 for a loaf of bread or a gallon of milk.

 

The only way to get this country under control is to demand full financial disclosure by all our

representatives starting with Bush. How much $ has the Bush dynasty made since his war in Iraq, how

much $ & who contributes to the campaigns of all our representatives, & how their decisions in Congress

& the Senate benefit contributors. None of this makes any sense & to continue on this path is ignorant at

best. Where all the educated people in this country, & why aren't they saying or doing anything? The

news reports the need for 100,00 truck drivers & we're losing thousands due to high fuel costs, going

bankrupt & it isn't even getting press?

 

America is going broke before our eyes at an accelerated pace & Bush doesn't even realize we're in a

recession. Free trade & illegal immigration have taken our jobs. Illegal immigration is breaking health

care, Medicare, Social Security, & Medicaid while the states take benefits from retired workers & pass

 the responsibility on to the same failing programs. At the rate we're going America is going to be

completely broke in a couple years & Bush along with the American people still won't have a clue.

 

I guess the American people are just that damn stupid!

 

A new idea: The White House, Senate, Congress, & individual states, your representatives

need to pass law making the hidden fees paid by individual Americans be turned over to

government instead of raising taxes for roads & other areas government has failed to cover

while handing out tax cuts to the tune of $9 trillion in debt. A 2006 study shows the average

adult in America pays about $942 a year in these hidden costs.

 

These hidden fees are through services we use everyday through services & businesses we

hand out subsidies & tax cuts through our representation in return for campaign contributions.

Groceries, Cell phones, Cable/satellite TV, Air travel, Hotels/lodging, Credit cards, Banks/

ATMs, Internet access, Insurance, & Retirement services.

 

Idaho Gov. Butch Otter wants to raise vehicle registration to $150 per vehicle to pay for roads,

every state in the country needs $ for roads. As America is going into a recession, raising taxes

on individuals is not leadership when money is being handed out by the same representatives

in tax cuts & incentives to campaign contributors. Raising taxes will not prevent a recession,

it will however help push US into one by taking more $ from taxpayers who will then have less

to spend on the economy!

 

9-5-03, Garnnett News Service: Engineers say nation's roads & electrical

grids are crumbling.

 

In 2001 the American Society of Civil Engineers gave the nation's structures

a D plus. After an 8-03 blackout it came to light that government spending at

all levels would have to increase 42% to maintain the nations current road

capacity & rise 94% to keep up with growth. The ASCE found no significant

progress since 2001 when a D plus was handed out. $1.6 trillion was the

price tag to fix the infrastructure.

 

This is only one state.  If this doesn't open your eyes, nothing will!

If an idea saves $1,000,000, 5% to the person whose idea is used, 50% or $500,000 of that savings

would go as tax relief. The remaining would be split as follows} 40% being split evenly between

Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and Education. 5% would go to a Health Ins. plan for all

Americans with a SS # and Veterans as well as the taxes generated from earned income from the

idea leaving .5% which would go to Nextrev. to maintain this site. It doesn't have to be exactly as

I wrote it here, ideas can make changes to make this site work better. This site is about US,

taxpayers with ideas to make America more efficient & put our representatives back to

Where does the $ come from? Taxes already being paid & wasted, PORK!  Billions of tax $

handed out by your representatives as favors in return for campaign contributions. Look at the

scandals, your representatives are giving billions of $ away for what amounts to pennies on the

$1! The farm bill & defense! Tell me there are no contributors making $ on campaign

contributions.

 

Ideas themselves that generate or save $.  The revolving door, 22 lobbyist for every congressman

are just a couple examples of the influence in Washington DC buying our representation. Other

countries have more representation, illegal immigrants, & everyone who can fit a representative of

the US taxpayer in their pocket has more representation than a US taxpayer dying in Iraq! You

can't blame someone for buying a representative, they're like a hooker on the corner. No wonder so

many get caught in sex scandals, they're cheap whores working a john no differently then women

they get caught with. Their name's on a list, they can be bought, & they provide a service.

 

That .5% would come from the 50% for tax relief leaving 49.5% for tax relief.

$100,000 toward Social Security.
$100,000 toward Medicare.
$100,000 toward Medicaid.
$100,000 toward Education.
$50,000 toward Health Ins. for all Americans with a SS# and veterans.

Realize the 5% a person earns for an idea is taxable income, 5% of $1,000,000 is $50,000. You

can make s a year's wages on any idea that eliminates $1,000,000 waste or generates

$1,000,000 to put toward this plan. If we can't come up with an idea to save $, I would

think we could at least come up with an idea to save one life!

American people, 14% of who approve of Congress's job performance, & 25%

of who approve of Bush's performance, aren't willing to put their names, as

Pass a law to take the top 2% from credit card interest rates! The entire

nation needs $ to improve an infrastructure that is $1.6 trillion shy of $

needed. Bridges falling in rivers are a pretty good indicator!

 

Gov. Butch Otter of Idaho is all about spending $ on roads but the only

way any of our representatives can come up with the $ is through new or

higher taxes. A recent article in the Idaho Statesman pointed out that

consumer spending drives two thirds of economic activity. This consumer/

taxpayer believes that if it's my $ paying the tax
